I know this was already talked about, but can Bioware fans ever just be pleased as a whole?

It's a good thing I'm not Gaider otherwise I'd open Dragon Age 3 with "rocks fall, everyone dies" just to spite people.

sigh.... I made the mistake just now of reading some of the other forums and came running back to this thread needing a hug. Got to love this thread  Some people just love to hate, no matter how hard you try to please them.

Same thing happened with Mass Effect 2. Nothing but rage after the game came out on these forums. Eventually it'll die down and people will cool it, just like with Mass Effect. It's a syndrome of making a sequel to a excellent game.

I usually just find one thread like this and stick myself to it, plus maybe one or another. It's not safe to go out alone.

WHY IS THIS NOT IN THE GAME.

I believe the whole proper rivalry endings don't fire from the point he blows up the chantry. I believe he's meant to say that Justice was the one that did it when you ask and then it's meant to go into the rivalry ending where if you're evil and a sadist you can chose to get him to side with the templars   But from what I gather, you're funnelled into the friendship path at the chantry Jenga moment.

I remember David Gaider saying somewhere that when BG2 came out people were calling it the worst game ever... Now its THE game for so many people. Like others said... people will complain and moan (not the good kind) but in the end it will settle down. Dragon age has plenty of faults but the homosexuality/bisexuality of the characters?!? **** please

Yep and if they only fix it on PC I'll steal my husband's copy lol. I, personally, don't want him to side with the templars, but I'd like a proper conclusion to the rivalry path.

See, that's where I thought the logical conclusion of the rival path was, considering his dialogue you get when you force it in the console. He says he can't live past this, hopes Justice and not Vengeance rises from his corpse, etc etc. If you are forced to kill him, if there are actual consequences, then, as I've been saying all along, I wouldn't hate that path so much.

See this is sooo much better than my current rivalrymance ending. I get the bland "I blew up the Chantry" (after him saying Justice was taking over and he wanted to reverse whathe'd done but whateves) and he does a complete 180. It's scary and a bit jarring. And I did side with the templars and he attacks me at the gallows but my Hawke doesn't even treat Anderslike they've been living together for the last 3 or more years it's just. "GET OUT OF MY WAY." *stab* Absolutely no reaction before continuing topurge the circle.

I at least want  Hawke to recongnize that he still loves Anders even though he has to kill him!  

And just to make sure that bastard Justice doesn't desecrate Ander's corpse I will burn it. I don't usually go for burning corpses. But that will be one thing my Hawke makes sure of.

Well then you'd be surprised. Intelligent discussion involving Anders abounds through this thread, I've only seriously started hanging out in this place for the past three days and I've seen all sorts of topics raised. There's a difference between raising issues with Anders vs "LOL I WISH ANDERS WOULD COME BACK SO I CAN MURDER KNIFE HIM AGAIN" that goes on in nearly 90% of the threads that involve Anders outside of this one.

But yes, you do have an issue with how fast this thread grows *shrugs*
