I have a rival playthrough stalled in Act 3 almost entirely because I want to see if they fix at least some of it, does that make me weird? It might make me weird.
EDIT: And everyone should take a spin on ManHawke at least once. Even if it sounds filthy. Especially because it sounds filthy.

you know looks wise i do thing garret got a better design than marian, but i have to say, femHawke voice > manHawke voice. imo

That rivalry dialogue! Oh my god! That is the most heartbreaking thing I have EVER read. That would be the perfect ending, Anders is pretty much gone in that path, it would be the final release. I could never rivalmance him, there is so much more of Anders in the composite on friendmance. I also find the "Chantry incident" more justifiable on friendship - that is a necessary evil, a horrible thing done to free the mages. On rivalry, it is pure Vengeance, and it is awful.
I like F!Hawke better for diplomatic, I think, but Boulton knocks the smug smarmy bastard snark-Hawke out of the park. And she sounds too nice for the bastard personality.Thief-of-Hearts wrote...

Well, not to start an argument about which voice is which a la Hale and Meers, I prefer Boulton's, mainly because Wyatt's... is too soft to be a hardened fighter?

They're just so much fun in this game and I love the Hawke/Carver moments.
Don't get me wrong, I <3 Beth too, but Carver wins out for me with the siblings.

well i usually roll diplomatic or sarcastic and personally, i think those sound better from femHawke. True she won't sound as threatening as dudeHawke but I think it's probably because....well he's a dude? As politically incorrect as this will sound, guys generally come off as more threatening anyway, at the very least because of the pitch of their voice.
