I don't think I'll ever be able to play a man Hawke, because I will end up crushing on him so hard.  I already have Anders to break my heart; I don't need to add a charming and roguishly handsome Dude Hawke.  ;_;

He will be the upstanding morally sound do-gooder woobie male LI that the game doesn't have. And he can hook up with other LIs! Bonus.

I'm on the fourth playthrough and only one of those was not Anders - Fenris for science..... Actually this playthrough I did romance Fen the Izzy then Anders (also for science of course )

I don't know about this. I think Anders spent at least half of his time in The Pearl and knows too much about the Blooming Rose.

If it makes you weird I'm weird too. I have 2 playthroughs stalled because I want to wait until it's fixed.

I'm going to redo the rivalry romance if there's a patch, but I'm not holding my breath for a console patch   Though I have the PC version too which my hubby played so if it's patched I'll prolly play it through on PC.

 Soooo just went  into Gascard Dupuis house and clicked on the vials and Anders says "Hmm blood magic, someone's been naughty."  Who else wants him to say that to Hawke if they use blood magic?

I hope if they release a DLC in-between the years there will be more romance and companion convos included in the story. Then we can have more Anders,,,,,,

Well maybe she left you.  

In any event, Boulton's fantastic performance aside, attempts to be charming at all times will result in far more awkward facepalms than fangirl (or boy) swoons. 

This is what ruined me for FemHawke.  Her stupid, inappropriate humor that I forced on to her at all times.

Aww, those cheered me up.  Enchantment soup... lol!  And no wonder Alistair is so pudgy these days.

I wish they hadn't taken out the LI lines with Varric, though.  That's exactly what I was thinking when Varric was talking about Anders: "Whatsisname? 'That mage'? Really, Varric?  You've been calling him Blondie for 6 years now!"

And calling Fenris an angsty porcupine... tee hee.
