I didn't have a problem with any of the romance lines from what I've seen so far, but my Kaya Hawke is mostly diplomatic. The only one that didn't fit quite right was the choice after Anders says he'll drown them in blood to keep her safe - the responses were saying that she doesn't want him to lose himself to the templars or Justice, or that most people would have gone for flowers and jewelry. The first line doesn't make sense for her, so I chose the second and try to justify it by imagining Justice taking note of the strange human customs.

Justice: Flowers and jewelry, yes. Drowning your lover in the blood of her enemies for protection, NO.

I thought for sure one of them would die after that.  XD  I was all "Thanks for beating me upside the head with foreshadowing, Bioware."  But no one died, because I am a selfish gamer.

I was sure Anders was going to die after that banter he had with Varric about it "not being a good story unless the hero dies".

I dont think I thought Hawke or Anders would die as much as

We would be caught in an epic tragedy that would drown us in sorrow and blood of our enemies

Then I thought Bioware you wouldn't .... but secretly still wished it

I'm so pathetic--the first time I got that conversation, I was really tired, and I took him literally. So I was really weirded out by the "you're so romantic" sarcasm line...I was all, "NO, Anders, that's really NOT romantic. At all." It took me about five minutes to figure it out.

Also, cheesetastic line fit my dude Hawke too, he was pretty much all LET'S POSITIVE THINKING  for a good chunk of the game.

Ugh, this. Like all the ~*pretty*~ Aveline mods. Well great, now she just looks utterly generic, not to mention un-Aveline. And I guess I'm weird, because I think Aveline's default face is gorgeous. :U

And augh the moving in line makes me cringe super hard every time. I like how Anders is being all ~romantic~ and ~serious~ and my Hawke is just like LOL THREESOMES LOL WANT A SANDWICH? and then that line and the whole effect is ruined :U

The mod that probably pissed me off the most was the one that turned Alyx from Half-Life 2 into a buxom sex pot. Like, they totally missed the point of her character.

Hawke would be awesome to know IRL, but you'd have to be aware that out of all your friends, Hawke's the one most likely to call you at 2am from a phone booth, asking to borrow your car, a shovel and a tarpauline.

Personally, I would have liked a sarcastic response along the lines of, "Awww, you sure know how to sweet-talk a lady." Or possibly "But all that red would clash with my eyes."
(Lawl. Poor Justice doesn't know what to dooooo.)

Ha! I should have thought of that myself. That completely will be a Varric exaggeration in my head cannon from now on. (funny how I would have never used the words head cannon together like that before this thread - out of context it sounds extremely painful)
