Oh god, the white Isabela mods are just horrifying. She looks like... white chocolate. It's just weird.
And I'll stop commenting on the white Isabela mods lest we get a bunch of white guys in here insisting on how very not racist they are.

Though it is a bit cheesy. I took it as foreshadowing. As in, 'UNTIL THE DAY WE DIE' WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ONE OF THEM IS GOING TO DIE OH NO.

My reaction was more, "homg Hawke, you are so bad at this romance thing. WHY ARE YOU BEING SO MORBID you weirdo. Now, how do invite him back to bed?"

Also Merrill's mirror can't do facetime because they only have EDGE network in the alienage. She'd need to move it to hightown and use the 4G there or drag to the Hanged Man to use the wifi. Silly girl, she didn't have to kill her whole clan.
I pretty much love you.
I'm glad someone appreciated this. lol.

I thought for sure one of them would die after that. XD I was all "Thanks for beating me upside the head with foreshadowing, Bioware." But no one died, because I am a selfish gamer.

I was sure Anders was going to die after that banter he had with Varric about it "not being a good story unless the hero dies".Pseudocognition wrote...

I dont think I thought Hawke or Anders would die as much as
We would be caught in an epic tragedy that would drown us in sorrow and blood of our enemies
Then I thought Bioware you wouldn't .... but secretly still wished it

I didn't have a problem with any of the romance lines from what I've seen so far, but my Kaya Hawke is mostly diplomatic. The only one that didn't fit quite right was the choice after Anders says he'll drown them in blood to keep her safe - the responses were saying that she doesn't want him to lose himself to the templars or Justice, or that most people would have gone for flowers and jewelry. The first line doesn't make sense for her, so I chose the second and try to justify it by imagining Justice taking note of the strange human customs.
Justice: Flowers and jewelry, yes. Drowning your lover in the blood of her enemies for protection, NO.
I'm so pathetic--the first time I got that conversation, I was really tired, and I took him literally. So I was really weirded out by the "you're so romantic" sarcasm line...I was all, "NO, Anders, that's really NOT romantic. At all." It took me about five minutes to figure it out.

Ugh, this. Like all the ~*pretty*~ Aveline mods. Well great, now she just looks utterly generic, not to mention un-Aveline. And I guess I'm weird, because I think Aveline's default face is gorgeous. :UFrishmet wrote...
Yeah I had to turn that off as fast as possible. That was just icky! I really hate most of the mods. Trying to make faces "prettier" takes away all the character.
And augh the moving in line makes me cringe super hard every time. I like how Anders is being all ~romantic~ and ~serious~ and my Hawke is just like LOL THREESOMES LOL WANT A SANDWICH? and then that line and the whole effect is ruined :U
The mod that probably pissed me off the most was the one that turned Alyx from Half-Life 2 into a buxom sex pot. Like, they totally missed the point of her character.

All right, that does it. I'm blaming Varric's narration for those lines. Because if I recall correctly, he writes cheesey romance novels and my Hawke is going to murder his face for telling Cassandra she said that.
Hawke, darling, he just wanted it to sound more romantic than 'You can crash at my place if you want'. Put the kitchen knife down.

I often think of my Hawke as a closet bunny-boiler, when she comes out with lines like the "till the day we die" thing.

Hawke would be awesome to know IRL, but you'd have to be aware that out of all your friends, Hawke's the one most likely to call you at 2am from a phone booth, asking to borrow your car, a shovel and a tarpauline.

Personally, I would have liked a sarcastic response along the lines of, "Awww, you sure know how to sweet-talk a lady." Or possibly "But all that red would clash with my eyes."
(Lawl. Poor Justice doesn't know what to dooooo.)
Vengeance: This concept of 'wub' confuses and ENRAGES ME!
