Am I twisted, or is the story?
It's interesting that Anders' writer also wrote so many other characters involved in the mage/templar conflict.

ANDERS/CULLEN.
THE WORLD WOULD EXPLODE FROM HOT.
(and yes, I wrote fanfic about it. I am not evil, just... you know... EVIL).
WHAT? WHERE?
Sorry, this is one pairing I've been dying to shipI imagine them to be like Greagoir and Irving someday. An old gay couple who like to squabble at each other. That's assuming Cullen gets to keep his head.
And Anders gets to live past 50-60.

Oh right....I keep forgetting he still has the taint. Damn, I was hoping for another epic lovers' spat in the Circle. There can never be too many of those, especially between Anders/Cullen. They could've been the Circle's next dysfunctional Has Two Mommies.

I didn't know it was possible to talk with them about it afterwards until I read about it on the forums. Is it possible talk with them later (still in Act II) even though it's been a while since the mission was done? And now I just had a horrible thought, which doesn't apply to Kaya, but would to some Hawkes. Bethany could be in that Circle. If Hawke and Anders didn't do something, she could have one of the victims.

I like Cullen a lot. He reminds me of Greagoir. And I like Greagoir. He's a decent guy. Far more decent than Irving can be at times.
and, anyways, have a secret kitten. It's like Anders' wet dream. There are kittens within kittens within kittens. The slow kitten penetrates the shield!
Uh. I should get more sleep.

I didn't connect the tranquil solution with Bethany at first either, probably because she died before Kaya reached Kirkwall. ): I think I have a save before Dissent (and most of the Anders scenes) in case I want to watch Kaya kill him again.Sable Rhapsody wrote...
Oh god, I didn't even think about Bethany. That just makes me want to murder Alrik again. Maybe I'll replay Dissent or something.
And yes, you can talk to them as long as you're in Act II, and a major plot event doesn't override the conversation. For example, if you do Dissent, then do the Offered and Lost quest, I think the option to talk to the Grand Cleric about the misuse of her seal overrides the option to talk to her about Alrik. I don't think the same problem applies to Cullen.
She says that in a letter? D: Wow. I knew I would never have a Hawke who sides with the templars (because I don't want to kill my favorite character), but now it'll be hard to play a Hawke who doesn't want to kill most templars. Bethany's big brothers would make Vengeance look like a spirit of kindness in comparison.Ryzaki wrote...
Yeah Bethany's letter about avoiding templars like Alrik made my Hawkes see red.
Big brother protective instinct went into overload.

Has anyone else ever gotten a snappy "Do you really need me around for this?" from Anders in Act III? I got it not long after starting the Act, running around and getting all the quests at the time.
Hightown looks pretty in the evening too.

In my headcanon, Justice can suppress the taint. Wynne's spirit could bring her back from the dead, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch. (This is also how I see Anders and Hawke having kids.)
It's still extra-bittersweet though, because it means that if Anders did manage to separate himself from Justice someday, the Calling would take him shortly thereafter.
Kim Shepard wrote...
Technically, it is possible for a Warden to have children with a non-Warden, it's just unlikely rather than impossible (as it would be with two Wardens). I think Justice's presence could definitely effect Anders though. If a sword could go through him without leaving a mark when he was in Vengeance mode, I bet he can have children... even if Justice has to help with that.

Oh my goodness, all I could picture was Anders forcing Justice to take control and saying something along the lines of "Take one for the team" Because Justice wants nothing to do with it and Hawke is likewhy couldn't he just have a spirit in him and not taint too?!

But if Justice didn't want to participate, she wouldn't make him. She would just be sad if they could never have children. Who knows, maybe if Anders calms down in later years, since Justice did accomplish the most important part of his mission already, he'll start to be a little more like Awakenings Justice and curious about love again.
