I haven't started another playthrough yet, but I don't know if I could ever manage a different romance. I had different Wardens romance someone new each time (well... Alistair got two Wardens technically) but I don't know if I could do the same with Hawke. Not that there is anything wrong with the other romances. Honestly I would probably be able to end the game happier if I romanced someone else. I just... I think I would feel to bad with him going crazy all alone. At least if I romance him we can go crazy together. =P

Dammit Anders! I like happy endings. I like stable guys. Why?!

Awwww. Now I'm going to have to -try- and flirt with Fenris. His character just bugs me SO FREAKING MUCH. I think I'd go straight and bed Isabela before I'd get with a guy like Fenris. Maybe I'll do that... Wonder if it's all the same with a male Hawke.

I'll be romancing Fenris in my next playthrough with another FemHawke. Friendship/Rivalry status is currently undecided.

To me all those quotes were warnings of what was to come which is obvious but to me the last one on regret seems to be directed specifically towards Hawke and possibly even hinting to Anders as well. That could just be me reading way too much into it though.

Flemeth got at least ten times more awesome in DA2. I like the relationship my FemHawke seemed to have with her - admiration for all the power and knowledge, with a little bit of joking around because she wants the ability to turn into a dragon too. xD My FemHawke isn't the type for regrets (she'd rather blame the person who caused it instead of blame herself for not being able to prevent it, like her mother's death), but when she looks back on it, she would see it as something Flemeth wanted her to say to Anders. Someone like my FemHawke, who lives with no regrets and doesn't think blowing up the Chantry is a horrible thing, would have a hard time finding words to comfort him.

Interesting! I love the Anders vs Fenris stuff. Doing Anders ingredient quest while romancing Fenris also triggers him saying something about it. Which is awwweesoooommmee. Thank you, devs.

When I "accidentally" romanced Anders with my Fenris girl, Anders completely won me over again.  "I'm sorry he hurt you.  But I can't be sorry he led you to me." 
Anders is such an unbelievable sweetheart when he isn't being a crazy possessed terrorist abomination.  When he comforts Hawke after Leandra's death, it's so adorable.  I had Hawke snap at him and say something like "STUPID MAGES".  Anders just rolled with the punch and gently said "If blaming me makes you feel better, go ahead".

He says that? Is everything he says adorable? I also like what he says if you blame yourself during the comfort scene. He's so good at being there for Hawke. If only BW had been a little kinder. I mean, isn't it enough to have to deal with a possessed ex-Warden apostate? Does he really need to blow up buildings too? I really wish the game had allowed for some different ending.

The Anders kiss scene is the only video game "sexy" scene that I have watched over and over again.  It's just... GUH.

I know which quest that is, because I did it last night.  It's the one with the Starkhaven apostates, right?

If you pick the diplomatic "I don't want this to turn into a bloodbath option," when accepting the quest from Thrask, Anders just turns to you and smiles.  Doesn't even say anything--just smiles that ADORABLE smile of his, and ding!  +5 friendship.  It is the sweetest thing in the world.

Yes, I did write the panting. And Adam was absolutely amazing at all the emotional stuff. I think he deserves a lot of the credit for bringing the new Anders to life. Also kuddos to Jon Epp who did the cinematic design on the kiss scene. I was pretty blown away myself at how well that came together.

This is really high prasie for me, but it's up there with the Night Before Ilos in ME1 with Kaidan.  Another scene I can watch over and over and that gets me every time.

Well, it was the best kiss I've ever seen in a video game.  I spent the next thirty seconds picking my jaw off the floor.  I can just imagine giving that script to a VA, though

Kudos.  My heart hasn't flipped like that since Kaidan. 

For a video game character I mean.  My husband makes it flip on a daily basis.

Really, really good effort on everyone's part.  I thought I would miss Greg Ellis, but I didn't in a strange way... and has for that cinematic -- wow.  It made my fiance jealous.

Also, good job at making me fall in love, and even sympathize,  with a killer.  Have I said you're brilliant yet?
