It's been said already, but bravo. I didn't plan on romancing Anders and I didn't plan on sticking with him after what he did... but I couldn't resist on either counts. He was brilliantly written. Plus, yes, that kiss scene was the best videogame kiss ever.

Oh I so agree, that look is gorgeous. I replayed it a couple of times to get the perfect screenshot. It's up there with this one for beautiful looks:



ETA: Discussion of that kiss scene... it was the hottest thing ever. I really must congratulate the DA:2 team - the romance bits in DA:O had me blushing and looking away. So did this, but for a COMPLETELY different reason .

ETA: I was a little disappointed before the game came out when we heard Anders' voice and it wasn't the same from DAA. However, Adam did an incredible job that I really forgot all about that once I started playing the game. What an incredible VA!

Haha. I always half want the camera to pan to his patients looking shocked or something. Then again, in the romance scene he also leaves Hawke's door open. Obviously Anders wants people to watch.

The Anders kiss scene is the only video game "sexy" scene that I have watched over and over again.  It's just... GUH. 

The little noises he makes.... That sold it for me. It was very, very difficult to do a romance with Fenris after an Anders run. I had to keep Anders out of the party to do it.
Next run will be Anders again, cannot resist...<3

Lol, I just think Hawke is an exhibitionist. You also make out with Fenris in the foyer area then have to walk across a room full of people (including your *mom*) to get to your room. Awkwaaaard. When she comments about having seen how Hawke looks at his/her elf, I was like.... ._.

I'm glad the camera didn't pan out, it would be played for lulz like the slack-jawed idiots at the tavern in Redcliff when you get a kiss from Bella.

If you play a dude, Gamlen makes the same comment about Fenris or Anders, saying he doesn't have to ask which one is the girl <_<

Hawke may have some issues.    In my husband's game, Bethany comments on how Anders reminds her of their father.  And Leandra inadvertently compares him to her dead husband.   Paging Dr. Freud....

Are you sure you can't get her to say something?  If you postpone that conversation where she says she's thinking about remarrying until after you get Anders into bed, she might.  She does about Fenris.  It's not much, simply "I've seen the way you and that elf look at each other."

Well, I don't think I can entirely blame Hawke for that.  The name "Malcolm" will always remind me of Malcolm Reynolds, after all... so Papa Hawke is a sexy, roguish, and all-around awesome dude in my head.  XD

He was an apostate, after all.  He aims to misbehave.

Well, I'm going to have to work up to Fenris slowly. My second character is going to romance Fenris then end up with Anders. Next one after that might be a Fenris exclusive but can't say for sure. It's kind of ironic because I wasn't really that excited that Anders was a LI at first - I was all about the hot elf. I like Anders well enough in DAA and he was my Warden's best buddy, but whoa, he took a hard left somewhere and ninja'd me pretty good.
