My templar-supporting Hawke was the same way! She was a huge Meredith fangirl and random people on the streets were commenting on it. Meredith specifically uses Hawke as an example of an apostate-catcher. And Anders really feels secure enough to openly put forward his agenda in front of anyone even remotely in a position of power? That's some dedication. Particularly after Hawke openly sold him out when he was standing right there...Purposeof-Flight wrote...

I think Lucius Hawke just mind-slapped Anders.
He's trying to suck up to Knight-Commander Meredith and Anders just jumped all up in her face, ranting about this and that. When he is an apostate. A POSSESSED apostate. -facepalm-
Hawke was like, "Shut up, Anders. We don't want to hear it."
Yeah, I guess Anders is pretty confident Hawke will have his back in those situations. I just spoke to Cullen about Alrik and Anders was all up in the conversation. Granted, it's true that Hawke is an idiot for strolling up to the Knight-Captain and being all "I FOUND THIS NOTE ON A DEAD TEMPLAR!" in the first place, but Anders doesn't need to bait him.
What's funny is my Hawke has never given him the impression that he will.
I guess because Hawke has a bit of a soft spot for him, Anders thinks he can dance naked in front of the templars shooting fireballs in the sky and he'll still be protected. <_<

Anders does not realize that nipple tweakage is ineffectual when the person being threatend is wearing chest armour.

Somewhat related, I find myself staring at Thrask and his lack of any stubble at all. Just the goatee, and NOTHIN' ELSE. Dude must shave every couple of hours, just in case.

Maybe he learned that fancy fisting trick from Fenris.

Therein lies the reason he developed sparklefingers in the first place. What better way to penetrate the treasures of the lady templars?

Hawke: Listen, Anders, you know I love you, right?
Anders: Of course!
Hawke: Weeelll... that said, no more ****** twisting the Knight-Commander. I won't stick up for you again.
Anders: I didn't ******-twist her!
Hawke: Okay, maybe not, but you grabbed her nipple and said "Deedle deedle". She didn't appreciate it.
Anders: ...sorry
Hawke: Sorry? I had to kill 10 templars to get us out of there, remember?
Anders: ::sexy pouty face::
Hawke: ::sigh:: Just don't do it again.

Yep. Lucius is templars all the WAY. Sold Anders out, bigtime. Basically told him he was an abomination throughout the entire game.
Only difference is that they're still in a romance, so I guess Anders is like, "Well he doens't exactly like me, but he can't deny that I'm fantastic in bed. That should be enough to protect me. HEY MEREDITH, SUCK MY SCHLONG."
Meanwhile, Lucius is lke, "OH GAWD ANDERS. Why don't you just go and shake your junk in the templar's face while you're at it? I don't think they get you hate them enough."
JEEZ. <_< Testing my limits.

Even with the handy dandy image to help, it's only now that I'm getting horrible mental images of Anders/Meredith. Damn you.

@Sjofn He's a ginger. They don't have hair problems. One of my best friends has hair Thrask's colour and he only has to shave every week or so.
Maybe he has that goatee because thats the only place hair actually grows on his face.

Maybe Thrask had an elven parent. Feynriel mentioned something about minor physical differences he always felt would make it clear to everyone he was the son of an elf. Slow-growing facial hair could easily be one of those things.Sjofn wrote...
The only thing about default Anders that has me a little scrunch-faced is how dark his stubble is, which is totally D-U-M but whatever. I'm sure it's that way because it reads better.

No, Anders just bleaches his hair.

Strangely enough it's not really that uncommon for men to have different colored facial hair. My boyfriend has the exact same color hair as Anders and his stubble and eyebrows are just as dark.

Same. My boyfriend's a sandy blonde like Anders, and his facial hair's darker too. Yay for scruffy blondes!

My extremely hairy, redheaded ex-boyfriend would uh. Dispute that claim.
Seriously, dude was hairy as all get out.
Also, my husband has hair roughly the same color Anders' is, and his stubble is all sorts of colors (mostly darkish blonde with some brown and red thrown in, it looks better than it sounds though

He has a cute goatee. He can't grow a full beard, though, it's all patchy on the rest of his face. No epic beards for Sjofn.
