Heh. I'm on Twitter quite a bit, and there are times when a ton of my friends will be having conversations with someone I don't follow and I freak out because I neeeeeeeed to knooooooow!

I'm actually afraid to follow Adam, just because I talk about DA a lot on Twitter and, well. That's about it, really. My fangirlyness needs some limits, I guess.

On a more serious note, it's depressing how Anders has almost no chance of coming back for future DA related stuff. I saw Gaider's comment about him being "quite dead." Maybe it's because he can't die twice =(

I've debated getting a Twitter, but literally all I would ever talk about would be video games in general and Bioware games in particular.  I wouldn't want to tweet all that to my real life friends because for the most part I'm a closet nerd.  Besides the N7 sweatshirt (and none of them even know what that means), I don't think any of my close friends know the true depths of my fangirlness.  I keep it quiet.

That's why I use it - none of my RL friends care about twitter, but I use it to keep in touch with guildies and other gamers, follow tech (and other) blogs, journalists, webcomics, and science journals and cat accounts. That way I can prattle on about stuff like DA in relative comfort and like-minded company.  Easier than managing a bunch of news feeds, and quicker to add your own comments.

Hm, yeah, bad news for Anders fans. I guess it's something to be expected though. He's served his purpose and accomplished his goal. I wonder if that means he still has a chance at appearing in other DLC where you import your file (sparing him). Unless it's an irreversible, permament death. I kind of wish they'd have at least revealed his real name or something before he passed away.

Fortunately for Anders, he went out in such a way that he doesn't really have to be alive to be hugely relevant in future installments. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him in one form or another.

I keep imagining a cameo similar to a Warden!Alistair in future games if he's alive. Nothing major  but just a nod to fans who kept him alive. I would imagine being referenced a few times because of his role in the game either way.

As for his name, I actually really don't care much about it. I'm curious, but it doesn't bug me because he pretty much considers his name to be "Anders". That is his name and his identity to him and his friends.

The Anders people are a people of extremes, you know.

I reckon they're not done with him yet. There's still the DLC they implied would fill in some of the time skips, and I reckon he'd make at least a cameo in DA3 if you spared him, like Alistair, Nathaniel and all the others did. I don't think he'll play a big role in anything set after year 7, even if you spared him, but before that there's plenty to play with.
