I got that dialogue on my first playthrough. I thought it was common knowledge. And yeah it does justify Anders's actions somewhat.

The other thing that link kind of reveals is how UTTERLY useless Elthina is, or how evil. On the one hand, if she knows about The Rite of Annulment, she has approved it tacitly (because according to DG she has the right to refuse it if she thinks it's unjustified). If she doesn't know about it, then she's really completely and utterly useless as a Grand Cleric, considering Meredith just sidesteps her apparent authority altogether and goes straight tot he Divine.

Makes me even less sympathetic to her going boom, got to say.

I get confused on how the whole Chantry ranks work.  But at one point I thought I read some where on the wiki that the Grand Cleric of the area has to approve for the right.  I thought that's why the templar's were waiting in the first game for the Gand Cleric to also give their okay for it.  So wouldn't she have to know?

Yeah, Elthina really gets me angry.  I love her line about being a gentle mother who lets her children learn for themselves.  My Hawke thought "Ok, maybe when they are both tugging on the same doll.  But I think most mothers, gentle or not, step in once the kids find the knives..."  If she wants to let the kids learn for themselves, then she can view her own death as a good learning experience.

Fine, for you and leggy,

HERE and HERE xD

And a bonus for maximum lulz

That's it, Anders and Cullen has to happen. Pretending they don't know each other, uh huh. Aw, they're even bickering already.

Miri posted a Cullen/Anders fanfiction yesterday.  It suits my headcanon just fine.

It really seems hard to swallow believe that there wasn't even a little sexual tension between the two of them.  I mean, they were the two hotest guys in a prison on an island in the middle of a lake...

Haha, I was already all over that like white on rice. It's hard to believe they wouldn't know each other. Cullen's always on patrol and Anders was sleeping with everyone. Hell, I wouldn't put it past Anders to have propositioned Cullen at least once (you know it happened though).

And both wear dresses. We all know from Anders' words of  wisdom that dresses = quick trysts in the corner.

Yeah, but Cullen's got metal trousers underneath his dress.

Total **** block, metal trousers. In a very literal (and painful) way.

I just got the impression that she was circumventing Elthina to go directly to the Divine, who probably also has the authority to authorize the Right of Annulment.

I imagine she probably tried getting it out of Elthina and that... didn't work. I imagine she was doing it to avoid an Exalted March, as Meredith seems to be more politcally aggressive than Elthina's "Let's wait and see". The aggression, of course, could've been magnified by the idol, making her see a necessesity when there wasn't one as much.

Or he's like Sebastian and wears a little chastity belt with Andraste's face on it.  It's both a physical and psychological deterrent.

God, that would be.

Or the best of religious aphrodesiacs. Anders seems like he could be the sort to get off on Andraste frowning at him.

@ipgd Yes, I think that too. But that implies either that Elthina knew about it and turned her down and then faffed around not telling anyone that the Knight Commander of the Templars was going over her head, or doesn't know about it, which indicates a level of incompetence from her I hitherto suspected but of which I had no proof.

The tower's probably a bigger place than the game allowed us to see, anyway. Wynne specifically says she'd never met you/hadn't spoken to you/just didn't remember you/whatever when you talk to her at Ostagar as a mage warden, even having lived there for most of their lives.

Given Cullen was fresh meat during the mage origin, he'd probably just not been there long enough to have known Anders, especially if that was around when he was doing his time in solitary. Both of them got out of the Ferelden Circle not long after that, anyway.

Cullen's secretly a very bad boy and goes commando. Don't tell Gregoir.

Faffing about pretty much describes everything I ever saw that woman do.

Ask Irving.

It makes playing Blood Mage and his Naughty Templar Thrall waaaay easier.

@Kawamura OF COURSE.

There's got to be some Greagior/Irving kinkfic out there. I haven't found any yet, but I'm probably not looking hard enough.

Fair enough. Still, I think the ordeal with Uldred would've brought every mage and templar alike. Cullen still recalls his traumatic experience from that and Anders comments on Uldred similarly.

Since we're on Elthina: I just wanted to say, "HOW DARE YOU?" when she tells you that gossiping is a sin. What crawled up on her *** I wonder.

Irving and Greagior? o_o My Kane Amell wants to be blissfully unaware about that. He thinks of Irving as a father, and Greagior as some annoying school principal.

I pair Kaya Hawke and Justice. But I guess it's really Anders/Kaya/Justice, with Anders and Justice sharing a girlfriend.

Suddenly, that whole 'sandwich' crack smacks of a double entendre. >.>

And now I like that line so much more. xD

Kaya: Want a sandwich?
Anders: I'm not hungry.
Kaya: ...I was talking about you, me, and Justice.
Justice: I like the sound of this sandwich. We should investigate.
Anders: Quiet, you!
Kaya: You could have just said you don't like the idea. ):
Justice: I like her ideas.
Anders: Pleeeease, stop talking. >_<
