Yeah. My Surana is the one in my portrait. He was just an awkward, awkward little guy that would have grown up to write treatises on some esoteric subject if he hadn't accidentally sold out Jowan.

Yeah. From what I understood, Anders was pretty much up against the clock when he went for his plan.

If he's with you, nothing happens and if not, they can't find him in darktown. Which they have to of known he's been there for years and didn't do anything then either.
I want to see Anders' reaction when you tell him though lol

My Amell was like Lily Evans--popular, smart, pretty little star student.  And Jowan just sort of followed her around like a lost puppy because she was nice to him.

Well then again, they didn't have the archdemon blood at that point or even the knowledge of how to do the Joining (Riordan was off frolicking at this point)

So it's pretty much canon that Jowan and the mage Warden played trading card games in the library, right? Because that's totally the kind of thing Kane would do. xD The star student who spends all of his time reading, sneaking out of his room at night to look for books about forbidden magic, practicing his spells in the Fade, constantly challenging the templars in debate, playing card games, waiting impatiently for letters from his cousins, and otherwise just being lazy. Oh yeah, and yelling at Jowan for learning blood magic without him.

How sad. Kane Amell could have used a friend. The only person he really got along with was Morrigan, and the two of them sort of betrayed each other.

Alim was less nerdy and more of a jerk to Jowan, but secretly loved doing nerdy things with him and Finn. Although he always pretended he didn't know them when Anders was around, because he seriously wanted to tap that.

Anders used to take great delight in being totally oblivious to Alim's come-ons.

Me neither.  Mostly because I think Ella is awesome, and I can't just kill her for teh dramaz.  Also, the letter she sends you if you tell her to run from the Circle is just the sweetest.  I like to think she helps out my Hawke and Anders after they go on the run.

I wish I could draw.
I have THE perfect Male Hawke/Anders scene in my head. And the only way I'd be able to properly share it, would be to draw it or turn it into a video.
Which would involve me either learning how to draw within the next few days, or going out and buying a bunch of equipment and finding a man that looked like Anders and a man that looked like Lucius Hawke. Too much work.
I hate my lack of drawing/movie-making skills. I can write, but that wouldn't capture the scene perfectly.

Yeah, my Warden didn't do that much. He spent most of his time just trying not to be noticed. After being born in an Alienage, he was pretty much convinced that being noticed by folks = bad.

Unpopular little squirt, he was. Good at magic, generally well-liked if you could remember him, that sort of guy. Irving taught him politics, though. And some ruthlessness, towards the end. ;_________;

It's related to the F/R bar.  If you don't have enough one way or another (I think at least 50% by Act 2), you can't stop him.

Heh, in my first playthrough I saved the poor thing. But with this Archibald Hawke nutso, I'm operating under the proviso that these two people are EXTREMELY BAD for each other (m!mage!Hawke is such an enabler for Anders' crazy!) so I'm milking the drama for all its worth!

Your Surana is just too cute.  My Amell (who was definitely one of the "Circle tower mattress" types) would have spent a lot of time trying to seduce the little nerd.  Though I think you've said he was a Zevran-lover, right?  She wouldn't have gotten very far I guess.

She was the type to have lots of sexual escapades and then tell Jowan about them in embarrassing detail.  Poor Jowan.  He knew far more than he wanted to about the private parts of all the other mage boys.
