Yeah I thought that about that picture (which I adore, by the way, his FACE IS PERFECT) but it doesn't actually show anything. Right? Right? It's just EXTREMELY suggestive. In a very good way.

Less NSFW (or not at all) for TOP:

Your Surana is just too cute.  My Amell (who was definitely one of the "Circle tower mattress" types) would have spent a lot of time trying to seduce the little nerd.  Though I think you've said he was a Zevran-lover, right?  She wouldn't have gotten very far I guess. :P

She was the type to have lots of sexual escapades and then tell Jowan about them in embarrassing detail.  Poor Jowan.  He knew far more than he wanted to about the private parts of all the other mage boys.

Yeeeah. Though he might have told her he had a freak accident with a rather heavy book and a potted plant that turned him into a eunuch. Straightest face ever.

And then he would have gone back to Irving's shadow. Or Jowan's to hear him pine about someone.

I like suggestive. I like to use my imagination.
Of course that picture leaves very little to the imagination....but it leaves enough to keep me thinking. >:D

Glad the comic amuses! I got the impression that you guys liked your apostate mages stir-crazy around here.

Ah, my m!Surana was a total dork in the Tower. He's the kind who would trade his Black Lotuses away in exchange for Craw Wurms from Jowan.

The comic was great. My Hawke liked that line. It neatly matched the way she felt about her family. She might be a gentle spirit healer but touch someone that mattered to her and out come the lightning bolts.

Yeah, I figure if I get modthwapped, I'll remove it and just post the link.  But he really is just torso-up in the picture :P

The image of Jowan and The Warden in the Library at break times playing trading cards is now Canon in my head. NERD MAGES FTW. Of course, Finn would be there too, and he'd always have better cards than the others because his parents would send them to him.

And every now and then Anders would pay them to do his homework.

Magic the Gathering must have been real popular among the Circle nerds.

More reasons for the templars to beat them up :pinched:

Guh, gorgeous picture, but reminds me of why I dislike the rogue Champion set. What is the obsession with characters wearing random grey rags with otherwise incredible outfits in this game?

Still, female rogue!Hawke and Anders.

I love Jowan! I imagine him and my Warden were best buds never allowed to play in the Circle kissing games. My Warden, because he was Irving's student, Jowan, because he was just ... Jowan.

They would have been the kids trading Magic cards to each other. If Fereldan had braces headgear, my Warden would have had 'em. And Jowan would have had massive acme and a voice that kept cracking.

D'aww, that's an adorable image.

I saw my Amell as the pretty popular girl who just latched onto the nerdy guy for reasons unknown.  My Surana was just too much of a weird brat to make any other friends.

Yeah. My Surana is the one in my portrait. He was just an awkward, awkward little guy that would have grown up to write treatises on some esoteric subject if he hadn't accidentally sold out Jowan.

Moira was quiet, studious and sneaky.  She pulled pranks but was very rarely caught.  Jowan would try to immitate her and she'd have to bail him out, often by taking the fall.  Two of her favorite targets were Cullen (he turned so very red) and Anders when he wasn't either escaped or imprisoned.  She kept upping the ante on Anders because he'd laugh and never really get angry at her.

He was one of the few she later taught to be an A/W since she trusted him with that knowledge of her people.

The final romance scene breakup dialogue is SO good
Hawke: "I know I will never be the most important thing in your life"
Anders: "I wish I had no loyalties greater than you, that's the freedom I'm fighting for." :crying:<3

Have to share. Cave-Fatuam and I were discussing how the "drown us in blood" line is kind of... short sighted on Anders part. So she drew this. Which is AWESOME SAUCE.

And that's why I can't bear to break up with Anders.

Also, I know it makes no sense given that they're a pair of apostate fugitives in the middle of a holy war, but I kind of want my Hawke and Anders to have children just because of his final dialogue line.  It doesn't help that their daughter popped into my head as a character, and I can't get her to go away.  She is the cutest, most angelic little blonde mage baby ever.

Since everyone was talking about their Mage!Warden, I give you chapter two of my fic.

Less fluff than last time, more angry Anders.

So it's pretty much canon that Jowan and the mage Warden played trading card games in the library, right? Because that's totally the kind of thing Kane would do. xD The star student who spends all of his time reading, sneaking out of his room at night to look for books about forbidden magic, practicing his spells in the Fade, constantly challenging the templars in debate, playing card games, waiting impatiently for letters from his cousins, and otherwise just being lazy. Oh yeah, and yelling at Jowan for learning blood magic without him.

Whereas mine just gleefully gave all the Templars a collective heart attack, what with her pencheant for finding her way onto (or... into, in some cases) improbably high spaces. She of course claims it was for SCIENCE levitation research, but really we all know the alcoves are the comfiest reading spots.
As for Jowan, I figured he was just the nice kid that took the scared newbie under his wing, once she showed up at the Tower.
I keep having these mental images of them skipping down the halls, arm in arm, to the tune of Leave It To Beaver.
I have no freaking clue how I got this idea, mind you, but it won't leave me alone.

Maybe it's just me, but doesn't wanting to be the center of someone's world sound just as selfish? I mean if I were in the same situation, I'd imagine having a similar mindset that nothing was more important than obtaining that freedom. For better or for worse. But I also wouldn't of been stupid enough to start a relationship either.

Or I have very limited social prowess with the human species. :wizard:

It hurts so good. It's very bittersweet, but it's also, for me, one of the the best reasons to stay together if sparing him anyway.
For my Hawke, that moment was really the leap into the abyss that Flemeth spoke of, more than any of the moments with the Qunari or Circle. With those you could see a hint of the outcomes, or you were being carried along by events without any choice.
But that moment with Anders? It's looking off the cliff into the unknown, into a world of chaos and war and fear, and stepping off the edge, eyes wide open. Best.

And Anders with kids is such a cute image. With kids AND kittens. Aww

Same for me, except they have three children and the oldest becomes Justice's next host after Anders' calling. xD

No, I'm in this camp, too. I expect my significant others to have purposes higher than me. If they don't, I wouldn't be interested in them.

Same with Anders. What's sad is that his purpose is nearly all consuming, self destructively so. But having a goal that's bigger than "I want to love you forever" is waaay good. I'd even think it was healthy if not for, you know, the all consuming, self destructive aspect.

I don't even know how you guys manage to get through the knife in the back thing... I couldn't do it! F*** Seb, I had to let Anders go even though I knew he'd come back. It was majestic, tragic and whatnots... but certainly better for my poor heart that stabbystab.

I know... I tried it once out of curiosity and was like "NO! NOOOOOO! ANDERS! I'M SO SORRY!" before I instantly reloaded. Seriously, a knife in the back, wow, that's really cold hearted.

Aussie time difference again... so many pages.

I couldn't do the backstabby thing either at all. I did do one pro templar playthrough for achievements and let him go and at least let him die fighting for what he believed in.
Then my husband played and while I watched he backstabbed him...:crying:

Who said you can't have kids as an apostate?
Sure, they'll be looking for Hawke...but will they be looking for PREGNANT Hawke?
Will they be looking for Hawke with little blonde toddler?
I don't friggin' think so. In many ways, having children will only benefit the two apostates in love. :P

That's exactly what my Hawke thought as she looked up at the ruins of the Chantry.  She remembered Flemeth's words and leapt with her eyes open.

And found that the templars could be defied--that she had wings.  It's cheesy, but adorable.

Yep.  She's still working on the Dragon part though ;)
