So I'm trying to plot out the playthrough I just started.  On a non-Anders note, deciding who to rival and who to friend stresses me out sometimes.  I feel like that's one of the best ways to express my Hawke's personality, but I get all nervous about messing it up.  And I want to friend Isabela but that DAMN GLITCH OF HERS!  Rargh!

Anyway, back to Anders.  I think I'm going to let Bethany join the Grey Wardens on this one, and I think her and Nate would be a weird, cute couple.  And then I got a mental image of Anders and Nate bro-fisting about hooking up with sisters.

Yeah, I just use fraps so I can um... abuse my SS button during certain... innocent moments. I had to replay that one because I was like "Why is Anders... smirking, it's so devilish."

I always respond in-character regardless of points. I worry that some of the team won't get enough friendship or rivalry though. It was no problem getting Anders an almost full friendship bar by the start of Act II, but I seem to get an equal amount of friendship and rivalry out of Fenris. o_o

The fun attack speed glitch from her friendship buff, where you get a -5% hit every time you remove her from your party until your Hawke attacks as slow as molasses.

Sebastian has a similar glitch with defence.

Of course another reason why PC > console, there's a mod to fix that ;D

Yup. Every time she gets taken out of your party and you save, you lose a permanent 5% haste. It stacks.

This is why I have a glorious PC for glorious mods and save editors.

And that happens in every game? That's unfortunate. Can't let Hawke get full friendship now unless I never take her out of the party (and Anders is the only permanent member of Kaya's party).

Anders is never a problem, because he's in my party 100% of the time and I'm usually pretty sympathetic to the mages.  The rest of the party shifts around a bit and it takes some planning to max everyone out... and yeah, I'm pretty OCD about having everyone maxed by the end of the game.  XD

Isabela has a NASTY glitch.  Her friendship benefit gives Hawke +5% attack speed, but loading saves without her in the party cause it to remove 5% attack speed, which stacks as you load more and more saves until eventually your character is ludicrously slow. I don't really understand what triggers it, since I beat the game with her at maxed friendship 4 times without noticing it.  But on my last playthrough I had to replay a huge chunk of Act 2 to avoid the worst of the effects.

Including the Zeta Thor?  Thank you all for that by the way, it has utterly erased any other mentally scarring thing I've seen in this thread.  Nothing else even comes close.  I have completely forgotten all else that I thought could not be unseen, and will save hundreds on eye bleach now.  And don't say I didn't have to click, my will save is just not that high. I think I'm just going to rival her this time around, which kinda sucks because my original idea for this Hawke was a pretty wild, fun-loving lady who would get along fabulously with Isabela.  I'm going to have to role-play some interesting reasons as to why they wouldn't get along.

To get it back on-topic, maybe she's the jealous type and can't get over Isabela's wild night with Anders at the Pearl.

Yeah it's on there.  I swear that is Ander's theme song lol.  Well when I am writng my fanfic and I am in a Anders heavy spot I must listen to it lol.

Is there a fix or workaround for this, other than dragging watery tart around everywhere?  Can't take her to visit the Arishok. :/  Is BioWare planning to fix this?

Cave_Fatuam again. She does a comic called West Young Warden which is basically Dragon Age set in the Wild West. It's freaking awesome. Since DA2 came out she had to.... alter Anders a little bit .
