Oh, Anders. You're a little ray of sunshine on my crazy parade.
BTW do you need a doctor or something 'cause that looks unnatural

Having no kinkmeme to troll makes the internet less fun. Oh well, at least there's still this thread!

WTF is wrong with your avatar? What are you doing to me?
It's a reflection of my inner turmoil. Wrex.
I'm confused. Has it changed a lot?
Because I noticed it was suddenly Shepard.

I was under the impression that he wasn't needed at the clinic as much by Act 3. I don't know why I think that, but I thought it would be another nicely depressing touch given how he's deteriorating by that point and how concerned he is with his patient's safety in his care.
But my Hawke isn't comfortable in Hightown either, especially after Leandra's death. If it wasn't for Bodahn/Sandal/Orana and the constant influx of friends, she'd have tried to find someplace less conspicuous after she became Champion.

Ah, that explains the look of intense concentration.

I want the kinkmeme back up. So much het though. Oh, my god. I'm glad for those that like it, but still.

Really? I keep going over looking for something to fill, and have found it to be pretty m/m slash heavy. And the F!Hawke/Anders requests that do come up almost all want a mage Hawke (unless Bethany's involved in a way that Bethany should NEVER be involved).

Alistair, in Act 3 sends a boat for any Fereldens who want to go home.
Shoulda dragged Anders with us.
God yes. Knock him out and smuggle him onto the ship. Get him away from Crazytown for a bit. A little vacation away from the Hellmouth for his mental health.

I just can't see Anders as a vilain... Though I guess I like my vilain more in Flemeth flavor.
Its like the people who see him as a manipulating conniving vilain have played a completly different game than I did.

OKAY LMFAO.
What is Jethann doing with his hands when you agree to sleep with him? Hawke just walked over to him and he was opening and closing his hands...kind of like he was warming up for some gripping action, or trying to beckon Hawke. I have no clue, but it made me seriously lulz.

Well, and he's practically manic-depressive during the three years between Act 2 and Act 3. I'm pretty sure that no matter how much of a rebel Anders wants to be, he's pretty dependent on Hawke to keep him functional.
My Hawke loved being a little Hightown lady. Rubbing shoulders with the rich and glamorous, attending parties, playing politics...she and Anders were so Lady and the Tramp.

It is pretty sad that even if you pursue a happy, supportive relationship between Hawke and Anders, he's still pretty much a wreck in Act III. Hawke has terrible things happen to her/him, but esp. if you play Hawke as sarcastic, they can laugh and make a joke about most of the tumult in their life. Not so, Anders...
Act III, especially after you've helped Anders assemble his little chantry bomb, really made me long for some more light-hearted conversations. And we do get hints of Anders' sense of humor reasserting itself every once in a while (his line on how in the Fereldan Circle everybody was kissing everybody), but only indirectly.
Most of my Hawkes wind up choosing the funny/sarcastic options, if only to try (unsuccessfully) to get Anders' spirits up.

I love that guy. Even more so since I hear he's got the same VA as maleShep. I'd have played a maleShepard with that voice.

I use Anders as a litmus test for fandom members.
I'm probably not going to like someone that sees him as a simple evil guy. I can understand not liking him, that's fine, but writing him off as a baddie makes me suspicious of them as a thoughtful person.
Not.. that my stance immediately makes me thoughtful. I'm pretty antithoughtful.

So, like mustache-twirling evil? I don't even know how anyone can come up with that. At all. I realize that fanfic is where people go to turn the characters they're given into the characters they want them to be, but making him a straight up villain depletes him of all his delicious nuance.
