Well in a few hours I am starting my first Marian Hawke file. She will try to romance Anders. Though I dunno if to go Rogue or Mage (Warrior doesnt fit her default femme fatale look).
HELP!?
Mage. Magey magey mage mage. There is something enormously satisfying about being an apostate in Kirkwall, thumbing your nose at the templars.
I agree. And make sure you equip the Apostate Courage staff. The one with the skull on top of it. How no one figured out I was a mage is beyond me
It has a blade on the other end. It's a spear. honest. Why are you looking at me like that Mr Templer. The skull is just decoration.

I thought Bethany comes to resent the Circle as well? I've never sent her there however. Just going by what I've heard.

I wanna try carver as a gw, but gid I love him as a Templar. I feel like he's giving more up for Hawke's crazy ass. It's got that sad mo' if "you would fight your own brother?" in it, too.
After the name Sebastian got rudely taken from me, I was toying with using the name Abel. Then, after playing, I thought it would have worked wonderfully in a wonderfully anvilicious way if I had left Carver to join the templars.
But I was already rolling a male mage and then planned to hook him up with Anders, so I didn't want to overlap even more xD

Magical fisting: It's not just for elves anymore.

Carver as a Warden is my canon from here on out. I was SO proud of him in my first playthrough, I nearly teared up. Really, Bioware outdid themselves with the siblings here, Fergus was ok

I may go Rogue. I love Blood Magic and I don't think Anders will like that Marian practices it. Is there any conversation if Hawke is romancing him as a Blood Mage?
As far as I know, no.

No, which is unfortunate. I wish SOMEONE would call you out on the use of blood magic, but apparently they all think you're some sort of exotic ketchup mage or something.
Also, SQUEE at Aimo art!

Oh, and do people really think Varric's 5'5" or so? Augh, he's taller than I am then!!! *SIGH*
I seriously doubt Varric is that tall, unless Kirkwall is inhabited by like, 7 foot tall humans.

I say just go for whatever class you like to play best. Mage is my favorite to play in DA2, so I end up playing mostly mages. In DAO I played almost excusively DW rogue, aside from that one mage.

The only part with Carver being a GW that bugs me is the loss of years of life... And the lack of kids. I can't see my Hawke taking his little bro into the Deep Roads, not after what happened to Bethany. He just wouldnt be able to, even if it means having to let his li'l bro out of his sight.
I always get the feeling from the intial discussions that going on the Deep Roads Expedition was Carver's idea in the first place. It just seems wrong not to take him along at that point.

Loss of years yes but i dont feel too bad for the lack of kids in his future. With magic running that high in his bloodline and the problems mages will face one way or another after Ander's Jenga of the Chantry... perhaps its best to stay childfree.
