I never leave him at home, because despite all their bickering my Hawkes know who has her back, without a doubt. While she is still getting to know her other party members, besides Aveline, Carver is the constant she can rely on.

Dangit, I wish there was a dialogue option to tell Carver just how much of a ****** he is and how much you love him.

Yeah but there is a practical (with Anders on your party why go Spirit Healer) reasons and RP (he hates Blood Magic) reasons that are at conflict.

Piping up that it's up to you what you choose to play, but don't dismiss having two spirit healers in the party out of hand. Having an extra heal comes in handy, especially if you're playing on the harder modes. Even just picking up Force Mage spec and putting a single specialisation point into (but not filling out) one of the other specs for the passive bonuses works fine.

I'm a rogue lover myself, but there are good arguments for having a character be any class you please.

Yeah that whole "nobody calling Hawke out on blood magic" kinda irks me.
Just ONE dialogue option would be great.

Anders: You're a blood mage. You do realize that it's hard to be friends with a known blood mage and fight for mage rights?
Hawke: No more harder than fighting for mage rights while being an abomination, I would assume.
Anders: Touche, my love. Touche.
Hawke: Glad we settled that.

There are no more kisses for Anders after the Act II love scene on the firendship path, unless you count the fade to black moment after you give him the house key right at the beginning of Act III.

Lack of smooches on demand in this game makes me sadface and reload one particular save far too often. 

Even just some indication that the characters are in a relationship beyond party banter would be nice. Like when Anders comes back with his, "There you are!" moment in the chantry, it would have been a nice addition to have him slip his arm around Hawke as he greets the Grand Cleric. Also, that moment when you go talk to Varric and Anders is there talking about the Blackmarsh, having him just leave without any sort of acknowledgement sucks.

I can understand not getting your grope on in the middle of a mission or whatever, but given that Anders and Merrill live with you, it's silly that you can't at least walk up to them and have a quick exchange about... I don't know. How their day was, followed by an invitation to retire for the night with a kiss scene. I honestly feel they put more effort into the repeatable brothel encounters than they did with the person living with you.

He stares at Hawke a lot. I'm always reminded of the Alistair/Wynne banter about him watching the Warden's swaying hips. Seems like Anders also has a thing for nice hindquarters.
