The way Anders says "Justice doesn't let me do this or that" confuses me. Doesn't he say, at the beginning and end, that they are one mind? How would he know if Justice thinks something? Is it purely a conflict inside himself that he is recognizing, the memory of when he used to enjoy something, or does he actually hear a voice in his head? Seeing as how he spazzes out and Justice takes over him (with black outs) I would think they're not of one mind at all, and him saying that is either BSing us or himself.

I think they're definitely not of one mind, considering Anders says he actually disagrees with Justice on romancing you. But he does say "he and I are one" a lot - I think he means they're inseparable, in that to say something to Anders is often to say something to Justice, and Justice/Vengeance does take over sometimes.

I imagine in this case Anders would love to get thoroughly sloshed, but Justice is right there reminding him that he can't get sloshed because he can't work to free the mages if he's suffering a hangover.

Ha! For real. If Justice really disapproved of our sexy times, he would possess him and leave. But he didn't. For the many, many times over the years. Safe to say, Justice was impressed with what he found.

But good point on Justice possessing Anders whenever he's not on track, and that he can "sense" him, rather than just hearing his voice or something. Like a bad feeling, "I shouldn't be doing this OMG -- *blacks out for ten minutes* DAMNIT I'M BACK HOME AGAIN."

Very, very complex character here.

He's like a cross between an overbearing parent and a horrible roommate.  And now I'm getting terrible images of an "ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL" situation during sex.  That would probably scar Hawke for life.  (Well, I think Kim Shepard said her Hawke wouldn't mind, LOL!)

I was horribly amused when I found Anders talking to my mabari telling him he'd have to sleep somewhere else now that he's moved in. Because he's using the bed. (Yes, Anders, we know you and my f!Hawke make good use of said bed. We know.) Dog gives Anders a remarkably tragic whine, and Anders says it won't work because he's a cat person.

I couldn't help but imagine Justice facepalming at that conversation.

Anders and Justice are very much like split personalities. Technically, they are part of the same mind, but they're completely different people, and the stronger personality can choose to take over. One personality (the stronger one) also seems to watch everything when the other personality is in control, but when they take over, the other one blacks out and can't remember what they did. At least, that's what I saw on TV.

My FemHawke would be surprised, then happy. And then she'd probably surprise him by saying "Hi, Justice." xD Lucky for her, she's not a Shepard-turned-Hawke whose first thought would be Harbinger if he really said "assuming direct control."

Whether you love Anders or hate him, I'm thrilled that he's had such a deep impact on so many of you. When we started writing, I said that I would claim victory if I got even one player to change their preconceived ideas of who to side with based on the actions Anders and Meredith take.

Hah...I'm glad I didn't succumb to the temptation to change sides because of Anders then.

I was trying to be a peacekeeper and see both side, but sympathised more with the mages through the whole game (it helped that Bethany was trapped in the Circle). When Anders played his nuke card I was *tempted* to side with the Templars...very tempted. But then came back to the argument that doing so would mean condemning all mages for the acts of one. Rosha hadn't held with that before and wasn't going to start then, so she sided with the mages.

She also saved Anders' execution until after Meredith was defeated.
