Yes yes yes I heard that. I don't mind killing my hawke to hear that more.   My rogue hawke dies sometimes while saving Anders from overwhelming demons, and after hawke dies, the control automatically goes to Anders as I always select him for the 2nd party member. So I hear his cry often.

This. Me, exactly. The first playthrough I had to get used to the voice & the Hawkeomgiloveyou4ever, and i had to turn on subtitles so I could see when he was talking or else sometimes I missed it.

Now I just <3 and obsess over both Anderses. Andersi.


Totally late to an earlier conversation, my Anders experience went like this:

Anders character video released before Awakening: -- Who is that man? Awakenings romance? Yes? Yes? Please? Alistair who??

Upon playing Awakenings: -- Damn you bioware! Hi Anders, pretty girl with pie right here! We were at the circle together, remember??! I made a LadyHawke tonight and she's just ... she's just not the same. I mean, that's obvious, but you probably get what I mean. It's stupid, I totally like her voice actress and everything, but I dunno. I was all, "Meh!" playing her.

Maybe I'll make a LadyHawke mage and see if the power of Carver helps ease me back into playing a lady.

Same, it took me a while and every time I heard Cullen talk I was like "Anders that's how you should sound." But now I actually prefer it. It seems quite apt really as his voice is kinda like an in between for Ellis and the guy who did Justice. I think they made the right choice keeping Greg Ellis for Cullen.

Except DA2 rumors, your impressions about Anders were just like me   I was like "Oh, I'll save/be with you Anders even if that means I'll have to tear/burn down Kirkwall," when I first heard that Anders would be in DA2.

I'm just glad I wasn't reminded by Constable Aidan when I heard Anders' new voice. That was my worst fear, and Constable Aidan isn't exactly someone I wanted to be reminded of.

Select Anders as the 2nd party member so if Hawke falls, the leader will be Anders. As long as Anders is not so far away from Hawke, he will cry out desperately .

Hey what about making a video of it or something, I have been TRYING to hear it, but no success so far. However, yesterday I heard him screaming in so much pain it actually made me feel sick - like someone was ACTUALLY being burnt alive or something! Howden, spare our poor hearts srsly

At the moment I'm about 75% sure that Cullen is going to come back as a party member and probably an LI in DAIII. He felt too much weaved into the plot now to just drop. If I get my facts straight, he'd also technically be the highest ranking in power in Kirkwall now with Meredith and the Grand Cleric dead.

Er - I'm not taking Hawke becoming Viscount into effect here. I may need to rethink that.

I've tried that, also tried selecting him manually after death, tried having him selected as Hawke dies, had them standing side by side... he says nothing ever  and he was 100% friendship and romanced and everything. It's why I wondered if it's missing on the Xbox.

<3Carver. I love playing a ladyhawke mage, and the brother/sister relationship. I like Bethany too, but Carver just has more ooompph to me.

I'm playing a m!hawke for the first time, and getting excited. Act 2 just started.
I can't decide if I want to hold off talks in anticipation, or if I want to run to the clinic right now for some[smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie][smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/love.png[/smilie][smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie] and [smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie][smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/w00t.png[/smilie][smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie].

And pff this man! - I don't know how he does it. And in the beginning I thought his dialogue was a bit monotone and way too emotion-deprived. And then came the trmbles and breaks and shouts and kissing sounds and...

Ah poor man. I do really like him, but I like him a lot more for the fact I can pick on him. and Carver too, but Carver actually made me feel proud at the end of my first playthrough when he became a Grey Warden. He grew up.

Bioware has been waving Cullen's virginity in our faces for 2 games and 1 exp pack now, it's about time we got the chance to corrupt him.
