Yeah, this. I normally don't even like blonde guys, but BioWare has kinda forced my hand on this issue in Dragon Age. Srsly, no brunets are interested in being romantic interests? Come on D:

This is a mystery for the ages.

Isabella and Merril have dark hair ;)

I think Anders is incredibly attractive. I vastly prefer his DAII appearance to DA:A. Also, those ears are so cute ^_^

I absolutely agree.
But I personally cannot find the faces in DA:O attractive in any way, because for me they looked artifical and exchangable. Like I would be able to recreate those faces within the character creator. That most of the companions (excluding Morrigan and Oghren) sported the exact same hairstyles I could choose didn't help in the matter.

But in DA2 the companions' faces are so carefully crafted and display such distinctive expressions and characteristics, that I really find them memorable and appealing. Their whole appearances reflect their personality, and that's awesome.

Plus I adore Anders' whole facial structure and his hairstyle in DA2. Scruffy/attractive hobo forever!

Yeah, the characters in DA:O looked a bit too plasticky. It constantly distracted me. That's why, after seeing how much better everyone seemed to look in DA2, I was excited to see Alistair again. Sadly he was hardly recognizeable. Thus I was driven further into Anders' arms. :P

I meant guys. No blonde women are interested in being romancable apparently, but there was at least a ginger woman. I'd take a ginger guy over another blond.

Personally, I miss the earing.

Apparently, BODY JEWELRY IS NOT JUST.

I'm possessed with a desire to make Justice get a navel piercing now (not Anders, just Justice. Body piercing, Fade-style).

Y'know, for research.

Delicious... <3

Right, I know what I'm going to be thinking about on the lacrosse field... and it's not lacrosse. Anders, you beautiful fool, I hate  wub you SO much.

EDIT: UM. For some reason, the picture of the Hawke that I want to use as my profile pic is coming up as Varric. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But, um... Why is it doing that?

I have to facepalm everytime at Hawke and Varric when we find that idol.

Anders: It's definitely magic... and not the good kind.

*Hawke picks it up and gives to Varric*
Varric: Lul nice Hawke. HEY BARTRAND WE CAN SELL THIS!*throws to brother*

Oh, you two.

And yet Anders can't sense the idol when it's on Meredith's back, within a couple of feet of him in a few scenes.

I'm currently developing an elaborate fantasy sequence where Anders' healing magic is capable of getting rid of pointless trivial head-splitting colds. Forget the terrorism - he is the man equivalent of Lemsip (only that actually bloody WORKS), I can forgive him anything.

That scene redeems itself for me in its entirety because Hawke slides down the handrail. Hawke shuns your stairs, and if Hawke wants to slide he/she damn well will.

Not that I'm easily pleased or anything.

And let's not forget the templars, who can't believe mage!Hawke is a mage even when s/he's casting magic right in front of them.

Kirkwall's NPCs all have very selective memories.

Maybe reforging it into a sword hid some of it's shiny special magicalness.

Or Anders was too busy staring at Hawke's ass to pay attention.

Apparently when it's a sword it no longer sings or sends out evil rays that mages can sense? Or it has its very own plot shield.

EDIT: ninja'd

Why a mage would want to pick up PURE LYRIUM of any sort is a mystery to me.

I totally agree on the awesomeness of this. Is it only for snarky Hawkes? Because snarky male!mage!Hawke is really kind of a huge queen.

I mean that in the best way possible.

No, Hawke in general ain't got time for your fool stairs.
