Although, this makes me wonder. If Anders got really sick, could he heal himself? He is a healer and all, but wouldn't that just drain him of what energy he had left? Bah! Thinking about these things just makes me want to write more. :pinched:

Hey, if he can rid himself of his own STDs, why not?

On the topic of Basch: I'd like to thank Mr. Yoshida for giving him such a manly rainbow colored potholder. It beats Anders' bib.

I love Basch zomg.

Just thought you all should know.

Also Balthier, but Fenris has kinda sullied him for me a bit. Stupid Fenris *kicks*

Going to other threads on these boards just makes me tired. Sick and tired. I have no idea how the writers deal with wading through it all.

I'm going to guess the same way anyone deals with response to their work, be it artistic, scientific, romantic, whatever:

Heavy drinking.

In that case I'm surprised they're not all in rehab.

Writers develop a high alcohol tolerence early in life.

Hah. Always reminds me of that line from 1408:

Dude: So you're not a smoking man. Tell me, are you a drinking man?
Writer *duh voice*: Well I said I was a writer, didn't I?

It's funny because it's true.

There are several professions that lead to heavy drinking.

Writing is up there. As is anything to do with microbiology, because it's the onyl way that you can forget how many things live on you and in you.

I love FF12, it's easily among my top 10 most favorite games ever.

The story, the characters, the world, the art direction, the music... it's all so amazingly well done.

And the gameplay itself - character costumization/combat/etc - are awesome too I think. It's funny how reminiscent of FF12 the DA tactics are.

There might possibly be a Balthier poster (and Fran, and Ashe) hanging on the wall in my computer room where I was playing DA2.  During certain scenes, it was like a bizarre kind of sensurround.

I would happily add DA2 character posters to the mix, for the record.  *looks askance at BioWare*

I want a giant poster of CGI Hawke cuz UNFFFFFF

I hate Final Fantasy. >.> I don't like the combat style, so I can't play it.
Graphics are beautiful...but I really think that's the only thing going for it.

I wouldn't mind a DA2 poster.
But I'm seriously going to turn that picture of Anders on a motorcycle into a poster (and put it on a shirt).
Seriously.

Basch was all kinds of sexy. It's hard to ignore that man's presence.

DON'T LISTEN TO ONDORE'S LIES!!

...let's not forget Gabranth. Hatred is wot drives him.

I'm not allowed in the microbiology lab.  I guess it's.... ::puts on sunglasses:: Staph only.  YEEEEEAAAAHHH!!!

Anders must not know about germs, otherwise he'd be catatonic with horror, what with living in a sewer and all that.

Do they?
I only played one...on PS2 like four years ago. Did not like the combat style at all and decided to swear off all Final Fantasies from there on out.
Though it makes it kind of hard when BF is a FF nerd and my house is covered in FF game guides.

The dude's got a nasty, vengeance shaped parasite living in him, I think he'd be fine.

*groans+facepalms*

Anders would be sterilizing in sight, consequently causing a giant fire down in Darktown. He would also force everyone who stepped into his clinic into iso wear.

I bring you Anders scratching his ear. Not for the faint of heart.

(If you were voice-kinking Adam Howden this is a good way to cure yourself :?)

Lol nice

I dunno, I think Adam Howden did a fine job as Anders but I think he just gets eclipsed by some of the other VAs. I think Isabela, Varric and Fenris stood out more to me on the voice front.

Yeah of what little I played of FFXII, it was Basch who totally did it for me. Dem sideburns...

Balthier was too much of a Han Solo wannabe for me >_>

Varric.
Sometimes Fenris' voice grated on me.
Like the way he says "hunters"....makes me go all ARGH for some reason.

DA2 posters would be awesome. I would love a Ser-Pouts-a-Lot poster. Somehow I don't think my husband would appreciate giant Anders anywhere in the house though. He already rolls his eyes enough at my Assassin's Creed posters. At least he can fight the Anders wallpapers on my computers with Leliana on his own computers.

He has the best Twitter.

Also I laugh because right now I'm playing Dynasty Warriors 7, and Gideon Emery plays one of the generals in the game with an American accent.  It's HORRIBLE but I can't unhear Balthier or Fenris.

Our liquor cabinet is quite extensive.  :innocent:

No.

"R" is one of the more fascinating sounds humans make. At least, I thnk so. It's crazy!

Try explaing that sound to a non-native speaker that has more of a flap R than the crazy one we've got.

Yeah. Some are turn based, some are real time, some are hybrids. FF12's has some similarities with DA3's. The FF13 is absolutely different from any other game out there. It's pretty interesting how they come up with something different for every game in the series.
