So guys.
I've been playing Awakening again, trying to finish my Mage Warden playthrough.
I just finished the Blackmarsh.
This has been my face for the past hour and a half.



I swear, the more I play DAII, the more those banters are like a knife in the gut.

EDIT: ...****, who the hell am I kidding? My face was like that pretty much from the start. I knew what was coming.

Wow, it's pretty much how I romanced him, but I was planning to anyway my first playthrough.

Anyone noticing that all the people who hate Anders hate EVERYTHING about him? From his looks, his voice, etc. I don't like Seb but I think he is hot, I think Fenris is a bit of a drama queen on occasion but I love his romance. Why are people deciding to hate everything about him for a single event at the end of the game? I really don't understand it. Maybe I am slow and unattentive, who knows.

Oh thanks so much for that link! I adore Yahtzee, he's so hilarious. And IMO despite the fact that he slams DA2 I actually think he liked the game a lot more than most (he slams EVERYTHING except for Portal, Silent Hill 2 and Shadow of the Colussus, as far as I can tell). He at least FINISHED DA2. I'll put that down to being delightfully enraptured by the story, which is why I love Bioware games. Gameplay is secondary for me, truly.

Thanks for linking that. I've actually never read Extra Punctucation (for shame!), but this was really interesting. Plus it made me smile. Needed some of that!

I come bearing a short, and probably poorly written fanfic! Yay! *Eyeroll*

It's my interpretation of the whole "decide the fate of Anders" dialogue that occurs after his crisis point.

It's only about 1000 words and just sort of expands about the emotional trauma going on during the scene. I'm currently working on a longer, more angsty, NOT HAPPY, epilogue for my Hawke and Anders, but this scene wouldn't leave me alone until I did something about it.
