See, I usually don't replay games except to refine the roleplaying in certain parts, so I usually end up with one PC and one favorite LI for that PC.

Except in Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age 2.  BG is to date the only game where I've rolled three separate PCs and played them all the way through.  ME2 and DA2 I've replayed three times a piece...with the same damned protagonist because I love my Shep and Hawke so much

Urg the angstangstangst. Listening to sad music on loop while writing this stuff is bad for my brain.

I try doing other characters, but it doesn't work. For example, I really felt uncomfortable meeting Jowan with anyone but my Surana. It was a really alarming feeling.

I know the feeling.  I can't play anyone but my Amell or my Hawke.  Though I did get a good portion of the way into a ManShep playthrough, because he's the polar opposite of my FemShep and it's hilarious.

I suppose if I wanted a feeling for a different class, I could always play my best friend's Cousland and Hawke.  I know her characters almost as well as I know mine.

I'm totally opposite, once I play through the game with a character, that is it. They are done, mistakes and all. I will remember them fondly. But it's time for a NEW CHARACTER YAY.

I did give my Shepards different nicknames, though. There's MANSHEP and PigShep (he has a piggy nose when you look at him straight on, he looks good in profile though!) and SallyShep and B*tchShep.

I understand that, too. I want to be like that, because it would be neato, but I feel so disturbed.

And that is why I never let my brother near my stuff.

He's two.
And my BF was asleep and didn't catch him nomming on my controller while I talked to my mom in the kitchen. And as my mom was collecting him to go home, she noticed that he had managed to almost completely pull my toggle-thing off and saturated my start button. Now my start button doesn't work and I can't move.
