I joined this thread a good four hundred pages ago. And that was...what? Two? Three? Maybe four weeks ago?

I always play/plan out a lot of characters in BioWare games, and I know everything about these characters. If one line of dialogue sounds like something they wouldn't say, I reload and correct it, even if that means I have to replay a boss battle. If something gets messed up, I'll replay as much of the game as necessary to make it right.

Normally though, I only have one character per romance (unless I don't like the character they're romancing, then sometimes I have another character romance them to play out the "cheating" options). I like to imagine my characters in the same universe at the same time, so if two or more romanced the same person, it would just seem wrong. DA2 is different in that I plan to romance all of them at least twice. I think the fact that Hawke has a family makes it feel more like each playthrough is a separate universe. Anders has three FemHawkes planned - one throughout the whole game (Kaya, friendmance), one starting halfway through (friendmance, romanced Fenris first), and one that won't work out in the end (rivalmance).

LOL however when I get to the ending all I can hear in my head is "Uprising" by Muse...also from some reason I started twisting it and I head "Glorious" not "Victorious" then I think of Calin and him singing the song -.-

Yeah in my first run my jaw hit the ground when the chantry blew up.
My BF was like, "What's up?" and I couldn't even answer him, I was totally confused.
Then, ten minutes later, Thom called me and went, "ANDERS BLOWS UP THE CHANTRY!" and I was like, "OMGWTF I KNOW!".
BF was just like, "Well, okay. I'm just gonna go get some KFC, now."

Seriously, are you me? Is there some kind of... weird temporal disturbance I don't know about, or something?
Heh. Really though, that sounds all too familiar. I lost count of the times I had to reload a previous save because I hot the wrong button or chose the wrong dialogue- and then would pound my head into my desk in RAEG, as I realized I'd deleted an important savepoint and would have to start from the beginning.
Thankfully, there is an upside to all this frustration, and that is- with all the revising they go through, such characters become very well-thought-out, interesting characters. They become their own people, not just the player's sock puppets. And that forethought and emotional investment makes the story great.

Nothing can compete with KittyAnders. He escapes every single day, through some kind of kitty magic. We've sealed every crevice in the house and put baby locks on everything, but this morning I wok eup to find the fridge open and a container of yogurt splattered all over the floor.
I think I doomed him...when I named him.
