I don't have a problem with Justice staying if they can find a nice balance. I just don't want Anders to have to die in order for things to work out with Justice. Personally I think it would be cool if they could find a way to restore Justice to his former non-Vengeancy self and Anders could have extra spirit powers in the process. Like, when he temporarily undid Karl's tranquility. I think this would be the best way for him to atone for the damage he's done.
This a thousand times. Would be so awesome...so right, so poetic and so incredibly sexy
Seriously though, I can't help but bring Kael'Thas up again. I wanted a LI similar to him and Anders fell even too close to that. Blizzard decided to take the lore-rape "they all went mad and now you raid them for epics" route. I hope this doesn't happen with Anders. Bioware should have writers a million times better than that.
It would be a nice change to have that non-typical redeemed hero type. The mage who is feared for his past actions and his powers but still comes through in the end and ends up doing his best to help people during a raging war.
Anders' attitude towards Merril fascinates me. At the beginning of Act 3, I find him reprimanting Merril for being so foolishly open about her magic abilities. His harshness towards her but also his obvious concern for her really makes me want to see Anders as the do-good rebel leader he could be without vengeance screwing his mind.
Oh and just to be on the sure side: After pushing me away after the Act 3 loyalty quests, it isn't final is it? He still loves me and we get the chance to be together again later? Just wondering if choosing the questioning and guiding comments pissed him off.

I started out trying to draw something happy/cute... but it ended up a bit melancholic. That's DA2 for you, I suppose. Do whatever you want, but you'll be a little depressed in the end. =P

Renegade by Styx
Oh momma I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the law
Lawman has put an end to my running and I'm so far from my home
Oh momma I can hear you a'crying you're so scared and all alone
Hangman is comin' down from the gallows and I don't have very
long
The jig is up the news is out they've finally found me
The renegade who had it made retrieved for a bounty
Never more to go astray
This will be the end today of the wanted man
Oh momma I've been years on the lam
And had a high price on my head
Lawman said get him dead or alive
Now it's for sure he'll see me dead
Dear momma I can hear you a'crying
You're so scared and all alone
Hangman is coming down from the gallows
And I don't have very long
The jig is up, the news is out
They finally found me
The renegade who had it made
Retrieved for a bounty
Never more to go astray
The judge will have revenge today
On the wanted man
Oh Momma, I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the law
Hangman is coming down from the gallows And I don't have very long
The jig is up, the news is out
They finally found me
The renegade who had it made
Retrieved for a bounty
Never more to go astray
This'll be the end today
Of the wanted man
the wanted man
and I don't wanna go,
oh no
don't let 'em take me

@Yami I think it's wrong to love his scruffy/shaggy hair this much. ;-;
@Milana Pretty sure he does the"pushing away" bit no matter what - just make sure you talk to him in the Gallows near the endgame and that should complete the romance.

Still, it's very easy to not hit the heart button, if that's the commentary. >_>
As for Justice ... if we do stay with Anders, at least we know that if we're murdered he will inact revenge of epic proportions. Beautiful, epic revenge. FOR JUSTICE!

You just have to cut him off right away. My husband did it with very little rivarly and he didn't make moves on him anymore. He was easily able to get him at 100% friendship by the end of the game.

Ahahahahahahahaha... I've seen this before, but it is never not funny. As far as I can tell Anders is a bit less guarded in that convo with a male Hawke than with female Hawke, but not to that extent xD
The only difference I saw between male and female Hawke in that convo is that he never talks about his relationship with Karl to a female Hawke. He still hits on Hawke with the same lines regardless of gender.

Does he still call you beautiful if you're a male Hawke, then?

No idea, probably not. I was talking about what happens if you don't pick any flirts.

Those glowy Justice!Anders sig banners are awesome.nenosronhir wrote...
I don't think my FemHawke would want to separate Anders and Justice, unless both of them really wanted it and both would still be "alive" afterwards. But my FemHawke fell in love with both of them. If it was just Anders as he was in Awakening, they would have been great friends, but she probably wouldn't have developed any romantic feelings for him. If it was only Justice... a romantic relationship most likely wouldn't work, and she probably wouldn't consider the possibility that it could. When Anders and Justice are together, it's like she's in love with one guy who has split-personalities. If they were ever separated, she would be in love with two different guys, but neither one on their own can be everything she wants. That complicates things.
I hadn't thought of that before.maselphie wrote...

Also, adding to the discussion from a few pages back about having a kiss scene with Anders at the end of the game - I can see a lot of people wouldn't go for that option, but it would be very in-character for my FemHawke. She's not angry with Anders or Justice. If she were able to respond freely, something like this would happen.
Kaya: *kisses Anders, then playfully slaps him* Next time you blow something up, I want to be there.
Anders: I'll keep that in mind.
Kaya: Now call Justice out so he can get his.
Justice: *assumes direct control*
Kaya: *kisses Justice really fast before he can object*
Justice: *was expecting to be slapped* You tricked me... o///o
Kaya: Yeah. How does it feel?
Justice: Not bad.
Fenris: *facepalm* Is that the point you were trying to make, Hawke?
Varric: *is writing all of this down for his next romance novel* >

Yeah, that conversation goes a lot better regardless if you don't just start hitting on him. I meant less guarded in the way that he doesn't tell Hawke to back off because he'll ~hurt~ him or whatever if you flirt with him. Male Hawke doesn't get called beautiful, no, he calls him scruffy (not in a bad way, it was pretty cute), and when asked if it bothers you that he's been with men, upon replying that you never considered it he says he'll give you time to consider in as much detail as you like xD I don't really get why the Karl thing was cut out for females though, I guess they wanted to go all the way with the subjective sexuality? I did see a lot of.. people arguing it would ruin Anders for them if he was bisexual, so I guess that helped quell that?
I really appreciate how the convos play out well for both sexes as opposed to going the opposite route where they could have made it more generic

Yeah - I'm definitely playing this through with a male Hawke after I finish my f!mage replay. (I got attached to her, what can I say, so she's getting a second spin.
