Okay not so much like that but at least he was willing to go >.>

The guide actually gets it wrong and says that (and I quote) 'Sebastian is incorruptible in the Fade'. When I read it I was like 'B!tch please!' I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take much for the demon to get to him. I personally am of opinion that Sebastian refused to go because he was scared.

I like your opinion, mostly after what happened in his personal quest, I think he would have been all over that desire demon like white on rice.

On another note with the fade I WANTED TO TALK TO JUSTICE!!!!

I wanted to slap Anders for that. There isn't really any justification for it other than that Anders can be a ****ing enormous jackhole, so I have to mentally say that it was at the end of a long week during which he and Fenris were constantly at each others' throats and it was a comment spewed out in a moment of sadistic glee.

I've never handed Fenris over myself, but even Anders' affirmation that he's certainly no friend of Fenris' when Fen is doing his whole emo BS after the quest has insured that I never take the mage along for that quest. The whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth, even knowing how much Anders hates him.

It's kind of a pity that so much of their banter makes me want to knock heads, since Fenris, Anders and Varric/Merrill is my favourite group combination on my rogue. :|

Oh god, the "you're just jealous!" comment about Varania being a mage..... Dude. Seriously. NO. He's lucky I like him so much, lol.

Haha, yes, I thought 'What? Where did that come from?' Plus how can Fenris be a hypocrite and jealous if he didn't even KNOW or REMEMBER about having a sister, let alone that she's a mage.

Eh, if we still love him after he blew up a building full of people... what are a few jerkish comments. XD

I was so sad that there was no option to let the demon in the Harimann's basement possess Sebastian like you could with Kitty and Amalia. Even my most dedicated Demons Are Bad characters would have had trouble resisting that deal.

Man.

I want a demon to turn Sebastian into a cat, and then give it to Anders.

I was curious about that jealous line.

Fenris does betray you to a demon to be able to "Face them(magisters) as an equal."

@Inzhuna: I really thought I was going to be able to and maybe win some justice points but noo Bioware was like

Bioware: No Justice points for you! He has to hate you!

Me:WHY?!

Bioware: Because he is jealous Anders likes you more.

Me: But I needs it! Also I can share -.-

Bioware: NO!

Me: *Sad panda*

@Threeparts
I know even when he said that I couldn't believe it. I guess I just always saw Anders as no matter how much he didn't like someone he would stoop to such a level, it just seems unlike him, even with all the changes he has gone through between Awakening and DA 2.

Also, Anders being a jerk to Merrill is horrible. Especially when Fenris is there too, and they both just plain bully Merrill. And the poor sweetheart still feels sorry for both of them and pleads on their behalf, e.g. begs Hawke not to betray Fenris, says Anders should come along after the explosion.

I really wanted an option to shout at them. I know Merrill does stupid things but she has such a kind heart! >_<

Sebastian would make the worst cat, though. He'd be overly clingy and affectionate (like someone else we know dohoho), and offer his food to the neighbourhood cats or something and Anders would be all "nooo, you're doing being a cat wrong."

That was so beyond not needed it isn't funny!  I expected from Fenris, and honestly a little from Anders because he hates blood magic and he tried to warn her.  But still seems Anders went a little to far.  I was like

However his codex says he has become a bi-polar son of a ****.

Let's try to divert to something more silly instead of depressing.

That never bothered me personally. I love Merrill, but she's been told she's being a bloody idiot for years, and she never listens. Being sweet and kind doesn't excuse knowingly making deals with demons to use blood magic to fix a mirror that kills people, despite her entire clan, Hawke, and all Hawke's friends telling her to stop. I'm happy to cheer on Fenris and Anders joining forces to yell at her if it ever actually made her think twice.

Like I said, I love Merrill and think she's absolutely precious, but unless I'm intentionally playing an evil character I will rival her in every game I can. Knock it off with the blood magic, cutie. :pinched:

Oh Maker!  I don't know why but when I heard "He delivers our babies."  I couldn't wrap my head around it!  I was like Anders?! Really?  However if him and Fem Hake end up having a kid, he is well prepared!

You make good points, but I'm not sure being cruel to her helps in any way. Although a part of me did enjoy it just for the sake of Anders and Fenris agreeing for once.

Right, there was something I wanted to discuss!

Did any of you find it out of character for Anders to be so happy if you give Fenris to Danarius? I mean, yes, Anders hates Fenris, and doesn't care for him, but such a betrayal is an evil, mean thing to do however you look at it, so why isn't Anders worried that Hawke is capable of such a thing? It really bugs me. I personally find it very OOC.

I found this to be very odd and OOC too. Yes he's struggling mentally against his situation which might make him say and do things that ordinarily he wouldn't, but then that in itself I think makes it even more strange - at this point he's heavily influenced by Justice, would it be "just" to hand someone over to a former master? I would think that Justice would be raging against any thoughts of handing someone over to a life of slavery.

On a more fangirl-y note, am loving the screenshots *drools over smirk and realises she has an obsession*

I think the only time I can say Anders was really "cruel" was saying that the world was poorer for having her in it instead of the keeper while she stands over her just killed corpse.

The telling her of how being possessed isn't exactly a good feeling and you kinda kill people and not know you did until after the fact was trying to drill a point into her head. But I think sometimes he may feel like he's yelling at himself when he talks to her.

Actually, it might be the Vengeance side of Justice influencing him. Betraying Fenris is not just, but to Anders it feels like revenge for all those things Fenris said about mages.

Hm. I might prefer this over just thinking it was OOC.

First thing that came to mind was Anders delivering Morrigan's Dark Ritual baby. Then I realized it might not work too well with the timeline. Well.

To be fair, Justice also has the thought process "she called me a demon" ----> "TEMPLAR  SYCOPHANT  MUST  BE  DESTROYED  GRR  ARGH", so by this point justice or even coherency isn't exactly his strong point.

Remember, it's not Justice. He's possessed by a demon of vengeance, and considering how badly he and Fenris get on, it's conceivable that he sees handing the slave back to his master a fitting payback for all the times Fenris has accused him of having no control or being dangerous. He's personally slighted, and takes his pleasure in revenge to extremes.

It's awful, but it's a possibility.
