You can even warn Cullen after Anders plants his bomb in the chantry and he knows you're talking about Anders. You can just turn around a leave. It's awful.

Especially when Anders is right there.

You can tell Elthina that the 'apostates' are up to something too (Anders protests "What are you doing?" if he's in your party), and she seems to know exactly who you mean, but still blows it off. The more I play, the more I see how many opportunities she had to save her own life - and the lives of her flock - if she'd only just done something.

I want to give Anders the biggest hug ever when Justice comes out during the Rivalmance. He looks like he's going to cry when he's talking about how he has bigger and bigger blackouts lately.
Then, of course, I get the cold shoulder every time I try to talk to him after that, >.<

That just explains how Justice is demon like now ... so sad. Would there be anyway to separate Anders and Justice.

... I'm still wondering what his name could be (... partly because I'm playing The Sims Medieval right now XD... :devil:without any ulterior motive, of course)
Do you think he has a german name?
(Of course his name would be Hans Image IPB)

No we don't.
But it's Hans Friedrichburg the Second. :o
 I know this.

BTW, how is that game? I want it. Bad.

Just anything, really. But all of Act 3 is his downward spiral.  And that fight over his quest.  Hard to imagine anything romantic taking place there.

I agree. I mean, there certainly wouldn't be any sort of situation where Anders resurfaces just enough to realize how much he's hurt Hawke with his 'you can't say that you love me but despise my cause' fit and, after Justice has been completed, he attempts to make it up to her/him, possibly whilst on his knees.

That's...totally not something that would happen. Or that I would want to happen. Ever.

Plus his "I love you. I wish that'd meant I'd never hurt you." and "I told you I would break your heart."

Not feeling the romance there. Just cryptic Goddamnit Anders I have been awaiting this moment to happen ever since I speculated you were in the damn game WHATDIDYOUDO.

I could see something in between Act 2 and Act 3, or even during Act 3, where Hawke's trying to cheer him up keep him as stable as possible during one of his manic-depressive swings.  It'd be sad rather than fluffy, but that's basically all of Act 3 anyway.

Though my Hawke's both a mage and a bit paranoid.  She figured out what drakestone and sela petrae were for, thank you very much.  And still didn't lift a finger to stop Anders because bless her crazy little heart, she agreed with him.  I could picture a scene with them where she gives him the inkling she knows what's up, then lets him walk into the Chantry anyway.

Not without beheading Anders. Which is certainly not an option.
No, he has to live with him. Unless the Tevinter Magisters have discovered a way to separate demon from host...

UGH. Where does he say that? I MUST know. *heart breaks again*

He says it in his final conversation before the endgame--the one where he tries to give Varric the pillow.  If you pick the first sarcastic dialogue option, Hawke says something about how people usually only talk like that when they're about to stab someone in the back.  Then Anders does his sadface and says that line.

My reaction: D8  WHYYYYYYYY ANDERS :crying:

I couldn't tell you exactly, but I am pretty sure it's in Act III and has to do with his Justice quest.

Now  I need to go play some DA2 and bask in the radiance of the Andersmance. Oh wait, I'm in Act 3. I shall... bask in the glory of Anders' dashing black outfit.

What sort of little, interlude scene would you like to see between Hawke and Anders in Act III?

I offer one that I cooked up this morning as an example, but would love to hear other opinions on what should happen "behind the scenes" during the Hawke/Anders romance:

Scene: Anders is sterilizing pots by the fire at the Hawke estate, preparing to see to a patient. Hawke enters just in time to hear him gasp in pain as he burns his hand on hot iron.

Hawke: Y'know, usually when I want someone to burn the house down, I ask Sandal to do it.

Anders: <smiles> He had to go shopping. Told me to do it instead. <gasps in pain>

Hawke: <crosses room, gently takes hold of injured arm> Here. Let me look at that.

If Hawke is a mage:

<Hawke gently takes Anders' hand and uses magic to heal the wound.>

There. Hopefully that'll be better. But don't go picking up scalding pots again. One accident-prone house guest is enough, thanks.

Anders: I... Thank you. You're a good healer, however hard you try to hide it.

Hawke: Well, I had a good teacher. In fact, maybe you know him - he runs a clinic in Darktown. When he's not scalding himself at my fireplace, that is.

<Kiss, fade to black>

If Hawke is not a mage:

<Hawke opens a drawer and pulls out a healing poultice>

Here, use this. It's not magic, but it should help. Y'know, you never told me what happens if you get injured. Does healing magic work on your own wounds?

Anders: Sometimes. It depends on the injury. And Justice... <pauses>

But you know, it doesn't always take a Mage's touch to heal me.

Hawke: Oh? I'll remember that.

<Kiss, fade to black>

 OK, I d'awwwwed~

Not necessarily in Act III, but I did crave more "dude is living my house!" interactions. It just felt like Anders was plopped from the clinic to the estate with almost no change whatsoever.

I don't really think there will be any way to separate them ... so it wasn't really a question :crying: Well, 'complete Janders' could be different from Anders + Justice, I hope.

If I were Hawke and I chose to run away with Anders, I'd drag his ass to the Tevinter Imperium so fast his head would spin.
Then I'd shove him in front of a Magister and DEMAND they do research on how to separate him and Justice. I'd be like, "Here's 150 sovereigns, and I can get more. I'm rather good at finding money in random places. JUST SEPARATE THEM AND I WILL KISS YOUR FEET AND BE YOUR ETERNAL SERVANT."
Seriously.

Even if there was a way to seperate them, what about after the fact? I don't think there can even be a "seperation" without some sort of horrific side effects.

Would friendmanced Anders want to seperate with him? I don't really want to bring up friendmance/rivalmance deal but he is more accepting of Vengeance that route.

Fixed, then. ;) Although, don't stab yourself!  I'm sure there are more valid targets out there, eagerly awaiting death and all but begging you to sink the murder knife in...

Yeah, looking at you, Kelder.

And once you've seperated them without killing or eternally damaging Anders even further, place the spirits soul in a tabby-cat.

Anders needs a cat.
Justice needs a host.
Win-win situation.

lol

Actually, I'd never trust the mages of the Tevinter Imperium. Especially not with Anders.
Must be my affinity for playing as a Dalish.
Let's take Isabela and Fenris and just loot the place. (Fenris won't mind murdering a load of Tevinter mages, right?)

I, as Hawke who just had to clean up his mess after he blew up a Chantry and sympathized with users of blood magic and basically ruined what little of my life I had left, would not care if he wanted to separate with him or not.
I'd still demand that research was DONE at least. That way we can gauge the side effects by testing it on possessed...bunny rabbits or something, and get him HELP.

If there are bad side effects....I guess I'd just have to live with it. But we can at least TRY.

Friendmanced Anders seems to be going into Janders path while rivalmanced Anders is fighting to take control over Justice/Vengeance. I really wonder what Janders would be now.

I don't think it'd be possible to separate them without having some serious side effects. Marethari mentions something of the sort regarding her situation.
