I want to give Anders the biggest hug ever when Justice comes out during the Rivalmance. He looks like he's going to cry when he's talking about how he has bigger and bigger blackouts lately.
Then, of course, I get the cold shoulder every time I try to talk to him after that, >.<

That just explains how Justice is demon like now ... so sad. Would there be anyway to separate Anders and Justice.

Not without beheading Anders. Which is certainly not an option.
No, he has to live with him. Unless the Tevinter Magisters have discovered a way to separate demon from host...

I don't really think there will be any way to separate them ... so it wasn't really a question :crying: Well, 'complete Janders' could be different from Anders + Justice, I hope.

If I were Hawke and I chose to run away with Anders, I'd drag his ass to the Tevinter Imperium so fast his head would spin.
Then I'd shove him in front of a Magister and DEMAND they do research on how to separate him and Justice. I'd be like, "Here's 150 sovereigns, and I can get more. I'm rather good at finding money in random places. JUST SEPARATE THEM AND I WILL KISS YOUR FEET AND BE YOUR ETERNAL SERVANT."
Seriously.

And once you've seperated them without killing or eternally damaging Anders even further, place the spirits soul in a tabby-cat.

Anders needs a cat.
Justice needs a host.
Win-win situation.

lol

Actually, I'd never trust the mages of the Tevinter Imperium. Especially not with Anders.
Must be my affinity for playing as a Dalish.
Let's take Isabela and Fenris and just loot the place. (Fenris won't mind murdering a load of Tevinter mages, right?)

It'd be like a male version of Kitty from Honnleath.
Only he'd want the freedom of all Kitty prisoners from their cruel opressors, the owner. "YOU CANNOT OWN US, WE ARE SUPERIOR. PUTTING MILK DOWN FOR ME IS NOT JUST."

Tangled *looked* good but the story was just so rage inducingly dumb that I couldn't deal with it. It did help to mentally replace Flynn with Varric when he called Rapunzel "Blondie", though.

Varric makes everything better and tempers my urge to YUKI SMASH.

Also I throw my hat in with Frederick, just for lulz.

Even if there was a way to seperate them, what about after the fact? I don't think there can even be a "seperation" without some sort of horrific side effects.

Would friendmanced Anders want to seperate with him? I don't really want to bring up friendmance/rivalmance deal but he is more accepting of Vengeance that route.

I don't think it'd be possible to separate them without having some serious side effects. Marethari mentions something of the sort regarding her situation.

The Keeper said even though the demon has left from the host, the host's soul would be scarred forever. Also she said .. she needed to die in order to kill the demon. I think as long as Justice doesn't want to leave Anders's body, there isn't any way to separate them.

I'd say Anders and Justice/Vengeance are far too... connected by now.
The best option is probably to find some way for them to co-exist. Quickly.

Anders has already used up 10 of his 30-ish years, and anybody who read the calling knows that Wardens really shouldn't ignore the Calling.
I'm thinking my Hawke will be going with him.

How about Jürgen? :P

And what I'll never understand is why Connor was able to be unpossessed so easily from the desire demon while it is such a big deal with everyone else.

Probably because Connor wasn't a fully-fledged mage.

The only two successful cases of un-possession are Connor and possibly Feynriel.  Connor's not nearly as powerful as a fully developed mage.  And Feynriel hasn't been completely possessed yet when you come across him.

The warden got an aid from either Jowan's blood magic or the Circle of Magi. Hawke isn't able to get that much aid from anywhere in Kirkwall .. now, THAT is a problem.

We still don't know Anders' real name, do we?
... I'm still wondering what his name could be (... partly because I'm playing The Sims Medieval right now XD... :devil:without any ulterior motive, of course)
Do you think he has a german name?
(Of course his name would be Hans Image IPB)

Hans?

Image IPB

It would be cool if he had a german name, but .. please not Hans XD Friedrich maybe, or Werner or Wolfgang... hmm... *scratches head*
But I actually like Anders very much. First it sounded absolutely weird to me, because I'm Austrian, and "anders" is somewhat of a german slang word for "different", but the name grew on me.

It might have been his youth (resilience and all that, even though Eamon thinks he's acting strangely) but I think it has to do with the fact that he never invited it fully into him. So it could use his body as a puppet, but not inhabit him, and be killed when confronted in the Fade.

In The Calling, Fiona is taken over by a demon (and she does the whole flashy change into a demony looking thing thing) and while it does some real world damage, once it's killed in the Fade she goes back to normal.

And Fiona in The Calling.
But that was brief.

Was it so simple though? Connor didn't have much of a role past that, perhaps underneath he's been badly scarred by the experience...
Mages once possessed are apparently much more likely to be possessed again. (I think I heard that somewhere)

Also, Anders has been possessed for 10 years...

Hm. I'm interested about Feynriel and his being a 'Dreamer'. Do you think he could be able to separate Justice from Anders? They go on and on about how he can practically do anything with the Fade.

About the issue of possession, I recall that Wynne talked about abominations and the possibilities of reverting the process in DA:O. Does someone remember what she actually said?

Oh come on Hawke could get it if she wanted to. The problem is, Connor's ritual involves killing the demon, and Anders wouldn't agree to killing Justice. Maybe on Rivalry, he would, but still he would never forgive himself.

I don't know. I think Anders is in very different case from other possessed mages. I can't explain it much but I'm sure his case is just that unique.

I think my issue is more why it was so, well, easy to unpossess Connor yet no one really thinks about it for other mages!

TBH though, I'm fine with Anders ending in tragedy. That's mostly what drew me to his stupid sodding romance in first place! *sob-squees*

Huh.  Hadn't thought of that.

Marethari's pretty vague on it, but apparently Feynriel can "shape the Fade," whatever that means.  I took it to mean that he's like the Fade spirits themselves; he can adapt the Fade according to his wishes, and it's only a matter of willpower.

Now I'm really glad I kept Feynriel around :D

I get that vibe too. Honestly, as I already said, I'd hate it if Justice and Anders got separated. It's just wrong. Same as fics about Wardens magically curing from the taint so they never have to go for the Calling and have a happy ever after with babies.

Both those names (Hans and Fredrick) are in my dad's name.  Just... no.  Hawke's got the daddy issues, not me.
