I always end up playing the exact same game. I feel so lame, but I can't help it.

Same here.  We can revel in our lameness.

...also, for the Anders thing about them having children.  Is it bad that I spent a half hour in the CC today playing with what their daughter would look like all grown up?

I HAVE A PROBLEM.

EDIT for top: Image IPB

20 years is enough to make full-grown child .. what?
seriously though, Justice says he will take any means to achieve the Justice he seeks. It seems .. he is now more of the type who thinks that small sacrifice is inevitable for the greater cause. Oh shoot, I picture sister petrice here.

lol. Now I'm picturing Anders as a father...
Should prove entertaining! XD

I wonder, would all their children be mages if Hawke is a mage? (Little blonde apostate-families... XD)

(And that's IF they can conceive. Children of warden x normal person relationships are pretty rare, and miscariage theories seem very popular.)

Is it bad that I laughed when Petrice died...?

Yep, it's hard to have a child with a warden partner 8( ... Anders being a father will give him another reason to live and be sane though. I really loved when he said, "We are fighting for a world where our children can be born mages and free. Ten years, a hundred years from now, someone like me will love someone like you and there will be no templars to tear them apart." (Jesus, can't believe I've memorized that whole thing)
I DAMN HATE when sister petrice says, "Earn your reward ...." I'm in my 6th playthroughs and I freaking want to punch her face whenever she says that.

He seems so certain of that...
Hawke? Something you're not telling us...?

Fingers crossed for reincarnation, if all else fails.

Here's a great quest idea!
Lign up and take a hit at the manipulative chantry-b*ch!
10 silvers everytime you make her cry!

So just popping in to say thanks to this thread I had a dream where Anders, my Warden Nathaniel, Merrill, Varric, Mal Reynolds, and Garrus were drunk in my house...fighting over the TV and Anders was trying to steal my cat -.-

Captain Reynolds? :o Damn I wish I was in your dream. Nathan Fillion is on my list of people I can sleep with, without it being cheating buwhaha.

Yes, he's on my "Freebie Five" as well. To be honest I believe that would be a threesome between my husband, Mr. Fillion, and I.XD

*nods* Nathan's raw animal magnatism would make it hard for anyone to resist an oppurtunity to get down with that. NATHAN FILLION SANDWICH TIME!

Yeah, do not want, although the name King Cailanders is pretty glorious. Even if it reminds me of the word colander. On the other hand, small changes like that will never be as jaw-droppingly appalling as 'make Isabela white' mods.

Actually .. it is possible that he means "our children" as just next generations who will be born after the war between mages and templars.

I want to believe that Anders just knows something about FHawke that she doesn't......and it adds a little more to his desperation and need to "do what must be done"..........just a thought

Aww, the "Anders" and the 'preferably dead' and the hand-holding and Hawke's tough-guy pose... it's all so endearing and well drawn.

And arson, murder and jaywalking. Brilliant.

While I don't believe that it would be the brightest idea for Hawke&Anders to have children, I can see it happening. After all it is possible, even though Anders is tainted.
Again, not in a perfect family with white fence and obligatory mabari, but sometimes it is simply happening. And I cannot exactly believe that birthcontrol/protection is very well developed in Thedas...

I wouldn't even need to play such a family-scenario, even though it would be incredibly interesting roleplaying wise (you know, to play a MOTHER yourself), but you know... maybe in another DA-game, I wouldn't be completely put off or against it if it was mentioned that they had a child sometime after the events in Kirkwall.

Hawke: I'm pregnant.
Anders: -tears hair out and screams-

While I'm sure Anders would love some miniHawkes and miniAnders running around...they're not exactly at the time of their life where they can start having little love babies.

enchantment? A wizard did it.

The mages in the Circle (Fereldan, at least) seem to be hoping bunks and are rarely pregnant. I'm almost certain that was, after fire and a "make me attractive looking" illusion spell, one of the first spells mages made.

Adventuring/running for your lives with a child is hard work, even when you have a bunch of other badasses around to help. Plus, Hawke and Anders' child would be such a target. I just can't imagine him being ok bringing a child into the world as it stands and, by the time things are back to normal, it will be too late or they'll be dead.

Don't mages have methods of birth control so they can have loads of sex in the tower without (much) consequence?

Imagine trying to run from the templars while feeding a burping a baby....a baby that will spit up on you on the road and not have a set schedule because you're constantly moving.
