Except instead of blood mages, crazy templars, and abominations left and right, we have shameboners, frusterbation, and Meredanders

Yes, but he accepted his death and he also had to face that he killed
people, most Hawks called him a murderer and it was not like he was
hopping around clipping his heels together. Also, Anders said he was
apart of a greater whole, an organization of sorts that they don't delve
into too deeply. Besides if you look at the history of our world an all
the revolutions was one revolution ever completed successfully without
no casualties? No. Either side there is deaths. America, Canada, Vietnam
and most likely all the other European colonies. To say that our
countries were founded, some battles were fought would be belittling the
whole thing. But this is not one country, it's a group of people and a
large one at that. Magic is becoming more prevalent in Thedas and
everyone is taking notice even the poor. Anders knew the Grand Cleric
wouldn't take sides or she would support the templars since they are
holy figures and thus supported by the Maker. The Chantry itself is
contradictory as Anders points out if you rival him. I do not support
mass genocide but in retrospect that is exactly what the templars are
doing so the mages become desperate, that is why Orsino chose to use
blood magic in the end and become corrupt. He could have chosen to just
fight alongside the champion just like everyone else (mage support
story). It is the faults of both causes and as Flemeth says, the world
is on a precipice. Everyone is on a fine line and it could go either
way. Mages want their freedoms like any normal being to say that they
are beneath anyone else is immoral just because of what one nation did
(The Imperium) The Templars want control and regulation over people who
could wield too much power and try to balance the world, but in doing so
create imbalance and desperation. They also do what the Maker wills but
in societies today there is no one set religion, there are many.
Sebastian, if he truly is doing the Maker's will, is going against his
vows for a single man (if you let Anders live) which makes his faith in
the Maker seem...how should I say, not as strong, because he is led into
temptation. The desire for revenge are all demonized and according to
the Chantry, sinful. I don't completely agree with Anders, I would have
liked a more peaceful solution, but either way, someone was going to do
something stupid. It could have been anyone, Anders just stepped up
because he saw himself as the only person that was willing to do so and
die by it. He was tired of waiting and watching people suffer (for him,
mainly mages) But the Templars suffered too, becoming addicted to lyruim
and losing their lives as well. Both sides had taken steps too far. The
Templars began making mages, despite what they have done, Tranquil
which is like a brainwashing and therefore no longer a living since you
have no emotions, no dreams, you are cut off from everything other than
physical things you basically become a computer, just a database for the
storage of knowledge. The Templars did this before Anders blew up the
Chantry. I understand that Ethina was like a mother to Sebastian, and
the man that killed Hawke's mother was twisted, but the Chantry was the
epicenter of all the problems. Most likely now, new Religions will be
forged that are based off of the Chantry's. This will be like the Great
Awakening in a sense, where people can choose what they wish to believe,
that there is no one set way, so you can choose to take the Maker's
words to heart or completely discard them or in between. Since Mages are
becoming more numerous it will become more of a problem, not everyone
wants to become a Templar and recruitment was slowing down as well so
the scales are tilting more in one direction. That's why all of this has
happened. The problem is there is not a really big middle ground, yes
there are mages that fight against blood magic and such, but the
Templars want to take no chance so they do not seek their support much,
that's why Tevinter is the way it is. If the Templars formed an alliance
and just regulated mages like police with the aid of other mages would
help to prevent another Imperium and also make both sides relatively
happy, of course there will still be opposition but what country has all
their citizens happy? The Templars should be paired up with a Mage
partner to prevent any "unfair treatment" by either side these people
should also be an open minded group that will support causes on both
sides, courts should be opened to regulate and argue if a crime (such as
blood magic) is justified in certain circumstances. Magic is completely
unexplored and has many possibilities, people with ideals should appeal
for research and given guidelines and check ups if it is under an area
tat borderlines on breaking moral laws. Such as murder for
experimentation etc. And now I shall stop because this is probably too
long and Iam boring you...^^;

Just like how Hawke is unsure of whether he should be glad or ashamed that Varric taught Dog how to gamble.
But hey, Dog is still better than Anders

^ that is what I have been saying till I was blue in the face! I never liked that people brought real life into a game...you know where you can be a mage? But like you said and I have said more times then I can count, there isn't many things done for the "greater good" without "innocents" death. I use the " " becaue that changes from side to side and what a culture view those as. Point the Qunari. I believe what Anders did wasn't completely wrong. He was a broken man, that felt all other options were gone, and in truth I believe they were too. It's a game and I was excited I started an uprising!
On a lighter note as the great Zevran once said. "Death happens."

So any advice on how to avoid those lovely eyes and voice?
