Ha! Yeah, what was up with that? Although, I'm glad they think it's a good idea to send Hawke up against the Qunari with very little back up. Then we can get Anders' adorably worried when the Arishok finally snaps and tries to kill Hawke.

I mean, what? No, I certainly wouldn't endanger Hawke just to hear Anders worry over her... :bandit:

LOL.  I love worried!Anders.  It's delicious.

But Act 2 definitely had some moments where my Hawke threw up her hands and declared that she was surrounded by morons, fanatics, and crazies.  She didn't do it anymore in Act 3--she was too resigned to it by then <_<

I think it's more that the rage that fuels Justice/Vengeance's single-mindedness is directed toward the CHANTRY templars and the Circle, not toward the qunari.  That and Anders seems to think that the qunari are Hawke's special friends, like everyone else in the city does <_<

Hawke: I'm supposed to handle a bunch of angry fanatical horned men who can rip me in half with no political support or military back-up?
Everyone in Kirkwall: It's ok, the Arishok likes you.
Hawke: :pinched:

Yeah, after Hawke and Aveline get attacked at the end of Act 2. In the next scene (if romanced), Anders will say something like, "Thank the Maker, you're alright."

Hmm, I was trying to figure out how to correctly roleplay a mage!Hawke who basically worships Anders and how he would deal with the Qunari.

There is the option to go the fanatic route and ally with Sister Petrice, of all people (lol) but that hardly seems like something Anders would approve of.

IDK, maybe Justice was already fixated on the Chantry-abuse thing so he can't re-aim himself at another target. Like a bullet that's already been fired, he's focused on only one target and so he doesn't notice other injustices (like the abuses towards Fenris from the Tevinters, etc)

Cutscene where Aveline tells you to grab more help after the Arishok decides to spread his wings, if you pick Anders while romancing him he'll arrive saying he was worried about you, and as if you are alright.

Anders will be all relieved to see Hawke after the Qunari turn on Hawke and Aveline. It is so cute.

Also so cute...another Ser Pounce-a-landers (complete with nipslip) from way back when:

It's nice to have an LI who actually asks after your health,

Now, if Bioware could develop on that and include it even more...

Really. That scene where Anders was all concerned sealed him as my fav LI (especially considering Fenris' "Oh so they decided to take over after all?" reaction.

Thanks for the concern Fenris. I'm really touched. >_>

Add in some perverted templars trying to have their way with the helpless apostate, and we might just loose the Fade, too!

I honestly think he IS outraged by the Qunari, but as someone else said, the Qunari mages aren't keen on freedom themselves, and the injustice that Justice is focused on is the Chantry abuse.

Aww, I just rationalized it in my head as "Fenris isn't as clingy as Anders and figures Hawke can handle him/herself." whereas I see Anders as this hyperprotective ball of codependent crazy.

Funny you should mention that. >.>
Not long ago, I posted a prompt on the kinkmeme centered around just such a situation.
And someone has posted saying they'll fill it.
HELL YEAH. : D

'Apopleptic with rage' springs to mind.

Seriously, it would be PORNOGRAPHICALLY tragic. Like a Korean drama where the lead gets hit by a car, diagnosed with cancer, and loses her memory all in one day.
After a fight with the male lead.

Paranoia does that to people.
However, it never hurts to ask Fenris! (Even soon-to-be Champions need care...)

 hyperprotective ball of codependent crazy indeed.

I dunno. It just placed another tick in Anders corner and took one away from Fenris. Personal preference though.

At least he was there, my most recent ManHawke's girlfriend was pretty much the reason the fighting started. :innocent:

This should really be on his character profile in the guides and the wiki.

Also, Fenris was still in "I left you after one night of sex and now I refuse to talk about it" mode. He's not allowed to be concerned at that point.

Great now I have a plotbunny for a fic about my M!Hawke's hero complex and how it leads to him romancing Isabela, then Fenris and lastly Anders.

Just need the rivalrymance bugs to be ironed out. And then...oh goody *rubs hands together eagerly*
