i am having some troubles with my romance with anders.... i have currently friendly romanced fenris and im trying to have a rival romance with anders right after but i cant seem to trigger his questioning beliefs or dissent.... and his rivalry is roughly 80% did i screw up some where x.x ? (in same game play)

You probably need to advance the main plot a bit. Then Dissent should trigger.

Dissent triggers dependent on how far through the main plot you are not rivalry/romance I believe. I think you need to finish the first main plot chain to trigger it.

I normally get it after the quest with the poison...I can never remember, but yeah it is a good ways in.

there's also the possibility you need to talk to Anders first for just some checking up conversation and then it'll appear animeblob.

LOL that happened that first three times, fourth time I stuck with it....my boyfriend had to keep telling me "Don't do it!"  I will now forever troll his crush on Merrill...even though I love her to death, my all that is good in this world she is a sweetie!

I actually liked the Fenris romance a lot.

I wouldn't say that it's better than the Anders romance (or that the Anders romance is better than the Fenris romance) because in terms of quality, I think they're both equally well-done.

For some reason, I just prefer the Anders romance though. I CAN'T PUT MY FINGER ON WHY. xD
