Most of Anders' battle cries aren't things a mage bent on trying to obtain mage freedom should say.

I really wish there was a "Smarter Battle Cries" mod. I've wanted this since Alistair shouted something horribly inappropriate as he went into the duel with Loghain. And then some more when Oghren belched whilst decapitating Branka.

Anders: *staffs one of Merrill's clanmates to death*
Anders: Score one for our heroes!
Merrill: *runs away crying*

Anders: *stonefists a Follower of She*
Anders: For freedom!
Hawke: Actually, I think this is for self-defense.
Hawke: And whatever loot they drop.

On my most recent playthrough, I actually managed to keep a straight face during the Jenga scene until I heard, "Maker NOOOOOOOO!"

Then I was lost to a fit of giggles. It was so hard to regain composure so I could enjoy anything else in the scene.

I wish specialisations weren't just skill trees. It would've been so cool to have quests to obtain a specialisation, like Reaver or Blood Mage in Origins.

The first time I played, I was still so over the explosion, that Sebastian didn't stick out as much. Now, in addition to the 'Noooo' I also noticed more how he kind of chops up that scene. Like, I told Anders he could live to defend the mages. Anders jumps to his feet all excited to take on Templars and then Sebastian did his revenge bit. Next thing I know, Anders is back to sitting on his box of shame until I repeated that I wasn't going to kill him.

The whole scene seemed a lot sillier than it originally had.

Of course, then Fen left and I had to kill him. And I don't know why because it's the first time I've had to kill him. It's driving me nuts because I can't even go back to fix it since I don't know what went wrong.

I felt awful in my Fenris rivalmance. I was about 5 points away from maxing out Fen's rivalry and being able to complete the romance. I'd been struggling ALL GAME to get those rival points--I kept going up and down with him. Hawke hadn't gotten laid in three years and I was nearing the end of the game. I took him with to Merrill's last quest, took responsibility for her blood magic in order to save the clan -- and damnit if Fenris didn't approve me for about 10 FRIEND POINTS.

I promptly reloaded and murdered all the Dalish just so Hawke could get laid again. As I slaughtered all the elves, I was saying to the screen, "Sorry, Merrill, but I need to murder your clan so that my boyfriend will hate me enough to start sleeping with me again. I haven't gotten any in YEARS."

Yeah, I felt bad. But not bad enough not to do it.

And that is reason #17 why I am an Anders girl.

Meh, for as much as I love Bioware, I still think that Sebastian should not have been a dlc. After all, it is pretty clear that it was intended to be there, Shale had a lot less impact in scenes and story. And really, the informations we got from Leliana in his quest...it is a crime that who didn't byu the DLC doesn't know them.

OK, I still think the first time I saw him after the Chantry went boom, it ruined forever the pathos but...he makes sense in the whole setting.

*fails at yet another Anders rivalmance playthrough* There seriously needs to be a "kitten bood sacrifice" option for blood mages to spam ad-nauseum, that grants 15 rivalry points per use...Damn your woobie eyes Anders! I just can't be mean to you T.T
