I've never romanced Garrus because he is Shep's best friend, the person on whom she relies in every situation to have her back and do the right thing.  If he lost it and blew up the Coucil Chambers to free...uh...the Keepers it would totally ruin his character for me.  For Anders, on the other hand, it works (in a goddamnit sort of way).  <_<

@Mel_Redux: they had better freakin' not.  I've been waiting forever to get my Happy Ending ® with Kaidan. Shep wants her some lumpy-headed babies with that man!

Haha. Well Garrus and Anders do have some similarities, but really, I doubt they'd go down that path for him. If anything I'm more worried about my Shepard. But damn you BioWare if I can't have at least one of my PCs have a functional relationship. (Warden got abandond by Alistair when she spared Loghain, Hawke and Anders....well you know.)

Anybody who is filled with just hatred for Anders (as opposed to healthy love/hate) has obviously never visited this thread. I was on the wall on whether I prefered Anders or Fenris and then I came here and now it is SO TOTALLY ANDERS. (The twix video won me over, I kept flashing back to it on the train and bursting into laughter..people must have thought I was so utterly bonkers)

I'd put my money on Thane being the token Tragedy Porn LI for ME3, but "oh no i am sick and dying" isn't dramatic or painful enough for me. If Garrus doesn't defect to the reapers and kill Tali before my very eyes I won't be able to get hard.
