People take Anders seriously?

@ Ryzaki: That's why I'm rivaling him this time through. But there still aren't many great options to say, "I know your life sucked, but I didn't make it suck, so please stop blaming every flipping mage in Thedas for your problems."

I hope they don't try to force my Hawke to smile at those darn Asari again. He's not interested. at all.

my shepard sure is enjoying being the only fag in space

Your ManShep should hook up with MY ManShep, clearly. He's so lonely. Lonely for penis.

Our poor Shepards.

There aren't even any space prostitutes :crying:

Well, there ARE, but they're all asari, rite? ;)

There really aren't. And when you do discuss it he brushes itoff with a "you're an rare exception. Every other mage is weak."

Bleh.

I wish he had been in origins. He could've seen how "weak" all the mages were to temptation there. Sure there's some but most mages in origins resisted demons and bloodmagic. It's just Kirkwall that is idiot mage city.

Man, I would love a Foot Stomp option when telling Meredith what happened to the three apostates, and Fenris chimes in with the truth if you try to lie about Emile being dead. My god, I wanted to punch the bastard in the face. I'm certain he and Hawke had some off-screen words after that little scene.

What triggers that to happen, anyway?  He did it during my last playthrough, and my jaw dropped.  It was the first playthrough I'd ever had him do that.  Hawke almost punched his head right off his shoulders.

I've had him at maxed rivalry and friendship before and he hasn't done it, but he did last time.  Maybe another companion comment will override that one?

I was so FULLLLLL OF RAAAAAGE at that.

Yeah his constant ****ing about mages when Hawke's a mage is tiresome.

I don't think I can romance Fenris with a mage anymore. It's just too irritating. "Well I hate all your kind but you're an exception."  and gems like "how much temptation do you want to offer a man before he'll give in." I wish I could throw it in his face that Hawke a mage resisted a demon that he practically skipped towards.

Ugh. The more and more I think about Fenris the more and more my mages can't romance him.

I loved doing it because it's the closest I could get to the feeling that making Sebastian break his vows for one night of unbridled passion would bring.

It short. It felt naughty being Eve.

I've never had Fenris snitch on me. Then again the only time I lied about it was when I romanced him. Suppose he wasn't stupid enough to do it then because Hawke would've cut him off for another 3 years for a stunt like that.

That's why I liked the Fenris romance. The sex they have must be so angry.

That and the dick joke.

Fenris is hilarious. I love romancing him as a mage:

Fenris: Hawke, you disgust me and I hate you.
Hawke: Sure. Whatever. Wanna ****?
Fenris: OK.

Also Fenris complaining about mages ruining everything in his life bugs me way less than Anders whining that everything in the world is the fault of templars, personally. They both could stand to tone it down a notch, but I think Anders bugs me more because he will handwave away blood magic and demons as oh my God they're so oppressed when it suits him, then turn around and say the worst possible crap to Merrill because that's how he rolls. Meanwhile, Fenris is all "mages ALWAYS turn to blood magic once they have the tiniest excuse." And uh ... well, they pretty much all do in DA2. So I can't really fault him for pointing that out.

So you like having him wrapped around Hawke's finger. Hm...now I'm tempted to give Fenris my overly aggressive Hawke who is a complete monster.

Yes...yes...this is turning out delightful. Daemon Hawke will be cruel, incompassionate, remoresless. A complete and utter monster. <3

I hope Fenris enjoys being a chewtoy.

But mages don't always turn to bloodmagic. Hawke doesn't. Bethany doesn't. ...there has to be someone else who doesn't. ... goddamnit.

I'm not sure on the exact trigger - last run was the only time I took him along for that quest (I usually take Anders, Merrill and Varric for my 'mages in your face, Meredith' stance) and I was at around 90% rivalry with him. I think the other two in the party were Anders and Aveline?

But, Maker's balls, Fenris, way to tempt me to hand you back to the people hunting you.

Can I just say, as someone who cries "Dirty!" at the faintest sign of innuendo, that joke went over my head for like 5 minutes? It was embarrassing, really. And then I got it while replaying the scene to see what other options led to and facepalmed for being so naive the first time.

Anders is such a capricious little bitch and I adore him for it <3

They should have just called it Hypocrisy Age.

Nothing is more satisfying than having a self-proclaimed mage-hater cater to you. His personality is something to be conquered.

Friendmancing Fenris with a mage is pretty funny. And at least he doesn't snarl at you when you give him his gifts. :?

Heh. I've seen the light. My douchebag mages instead of beelining for Anders will now hone in on Fenris.

I just have to raise an eyebrow at a lot of the things he says.

Fenris: What does magic touch that it does not spoil?
Hawke: Hmm, your penis apparently.
Fenris: ......touche.
Hawke: But no, no, I get it.  I won't "spoil" you anymore.  ::storms away::
::Anders and Fenris exchange looks::
Anders: HAHAHAHAHAHA!  You are so in the doghouse.
