Where is the option:

"Knee them in the crotch and drag them by their hair"?

That would hurt if Hawke's knee accidentally hit that belt buckle.

This is the part when force magic, chain-lightening and fire-ball comes in useful...

I play DA with a "kill it fast enough and you don't need a tank" philosophy. In DAO, my warriors were all DW and now they're all 2H. S&S is too slow and limited for me now, and since I do like having Aveline around, 2 S&S in one party would be detrimental to the overall speed of killing.

Also, I figure it gives my Hawke and Fenris something to talk about besides "Grrr, slavers."

Back a bit, but Seb refuses to go with you into the fade and says something along the lines of "it's no place for a man of the faith." SO not only does he refuse to help you, he also implies that the Maker hates you. And he also says something along the lines of "The Golden City was corrupted through this sort of thing"

Yeah, thanks Seb.

And just when I think my opinion of him can't get any lower. <_<

Boy, I really don't like him. But I love the act 2 and 3 quests that are part of the whole thing so I'm stuck with him.
SIGH. Bioware, we have a love/hate relationship right now.

I think rivalry is the best path for him anyway. He has a whole city to rule, you should push him to do his job and protect his people, not waste his life as a priest.

I think that was just an excuse for BW not having to do a scene with Seb betraying you + an extra scene at the end, like with the other characters.

Pretty much.XD

This. Friendship path just pussifies him.

Plus it's fun to annoy him.
Even though because I do the missions and always leave him home... I have to use the console to increase rivalry enough, lolz.
He is such a **** with the friendship points!!! I don't know how to make him stop!

For some reason, I found mages work best for me in DA2.
Glyph of Repulsion + Hemorhage + Chain lightening + Tempest = Quickest clearout ever.

Also, many, many conversations to be had with Fenris...

Fenris: Magic is evil!!!! >:o
Hawke: I just taught you to read you ungrateful bastard!
F: Fine. You are not evil.
H: Good.
F: (Yet....)
H: What?
F: Nothing.
H: ... <_<
F: Anders is evil!
H: ...And that's why he healed your sorry ass several times over the past 24-hours?
F: YES.
H: ...I give up.

I wish I could play that, but I always go back to my "hotness trio" of Varric, Fenris, Anders.  I'm so weak.

Yeah, I have the same problem because I usually play a nice guy it's hard to make Seb mad. Short of just plainly not helping people he loves you for everything.

See, it was easy for me since I missed Fenris the first playthrough. I generally had Varric, Anders, Merrill and mage Hawke. Fenris is also too scrawny for me; I just keep him around for that voice.

@Dasha Dreyson, @Dreamin-in-Shadow I'm just talking about playing a non-mage Hawke (or Warden).

Poor thing. Ah... I guess I should actually go outside or something since the weather is nice for a change.

Plus, you don't want to get farted on.

If only that were true.
I went to scrape the winter hair off my horse. I got chased out of my house by one flatulant creature only to get accosted by an even larger one.

Ha, I did that.

My first playthrough I just sat there watching the credits thinking: Didn't  I forget something...?

Then it hit me:
I totally forgot to recruit Fenris and Isabela. XD

It's easy to max his rivalry using that exploit where you can tell Elthina she's useless over and over and it gives +5 rivalry every time. It's after his act 2 quest I think.

With Seb I just tell him to go and be a Prince and insult Elthina heaps. And I try to take him into the fade. Seems to work :D.

It's because he wants you so damned bad.  He's like Anders, that way.  <_<

Hmm... for some reason I just can't bring myself to romance Seb.

You friendmance him, you become a freaking Chantry sister (does the Chantry even allow mages to join!?)
Rivalmance him, you unite Kirkwall and Starkhaven and become a princess or something. Not appealing to me.

Fenris' romance just felt... lacking to me.
I don't see Merril as a romance for some reason...
And Isabela is more of a friends-with-benefits for me...

Meaning that Anders has totally won me over.
Goddamnit you crazy apostate!!!

(I didn't even see him as a romantic-interest at all until DA2...)

Do you get to pick someone else after he wusses out?
