Haha, I just wanted to see the Fenris romance myself and say I had experienced the templar ending. I didn't feel connected to my character, DW rogue is boring to me in DA2 (it was my favorite in DAO), so I skipped pretty much every non mandatory quest, just Fenris' and Anders'. Even then it took me like 20 hours for some reason...

But yeah. With DA2 I was so enamoured by my first playthrough and my first character that he is the only one I want to play D: I'm waiting for the patch as well, though.

I'll play male and female because I need the variety for the sake of replay. I actually keep charts of previous characters, so as not to redo the same combo. I can confess that on a gamer forum and not feel silly. My list of DAO characters has been very handy when importing games into DA2. The DA2 game importer doesn't tell me important stuff like "that game had a snarky character who really liked jelly sandwiches".

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this. I keep little notebooks for every game I play so I can write down important information, and my green one for DA:O/DA2 is filled with snippets of info about made and planned characters.
From their appearance to the decisions they make, who they like and who they hate, their personalities, their odd little quirks and backstories. I don't do much with the information as I'm too lazy to write about them, but each Warden and Hawke is a complete person, and even when they make the same decisions they're doing it with different reasons and goals in mind.

It's one reason why I hope that one day our Hawkes and Wardens meet, because there are some combinations that I would kill to see.

Not really Anders related but I have a question. In my imported save Nate stayed a warden, but his sister isn't popping up anymore. It happened once and now nothing. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Nate's quest is bugged; sometimes he doesn't show up even if he's supposed to.  You could use Gibbed's save game generator for the next save you import.  For now, if you want to accept Nate's quest, you can use the dev console to enable it, though you'll miss his sister's dialogue.

After reading the last couple of pages, I think the solution to the mage/templar/Chantry issues is to lock them all up in a room and order them all to hug it out.

This is after we take away all their sharp objects, lyrium idols and ability to kill people with their brains, right? Otherwise you might have a hard time finding anyone willing to volunteer for clean-up duty.

I actually have a save set right before a trigger point with Anders, Fenris and Isabela in the party so I can hear it whenever I please. Although I do it more to hear Izzy tell them off because at this point pretty much everyone has slept with Hawke.

LOL thats the game in a nut shell.  Like I have said before sometimes I felt Hawke was secondary next to Anders.
