You guuuuuys, hilarious quote from Awakening!Anders in the Silverite mine:

"That ballista is conveniently placed, isn’t it? Well, I’m always up for a spot of iconoclasm!"

DOHOHOHOHO, Anders!  You tried to tell us all along!

lol I wonder if they had written the da2 ending by this point.... the story was supposedly pretty much complete by the release of origins.

I'm so using that in my sig.

hmm  so top I've no idea how to post a pic but I'll try... by Sandara deviant art

oo it worked. I love this one.

Oh and as to the chantry Jenga time of day, I agree with whoever said it was evening or night time. If you look at the linked video it's dark and the lighting on Orsino and Meredith is the night time moonlight lighting. Also you wouldn't wait around for the mages to get slaughtered so as someone posted that right after the act it says Lowtown (night) I think it's definitely night time, which would account for the apparent lack of civilians in the chantry.

So I confused Anders and Fenris's >_>  However Carver made me laugh. though I think Fenris "Becareful" would have suited Anders better in my opinion.

Which is weird again because I feel Justice would have been going "WTF WTF!! Anders don't listen to it!!"  Or "Blood magic! Kill it!"

Carver made me laugh too.  Oh Carvy-poo.

The only reason I can think of as to why Justice didn't get "triggered" is that it was a very subtle form of blood magic.  She said it was "blood and desire in equal measure" and it seemed to have a very seductive edge to it, so maybe it just triggered such a strong physical reaction that Anders basically overpowered Justice at that point?  Eh, I really don't know and I don't think that makes a whole lot of sense.

LOL the simple fact he hasn't been laid in forever took over, and told Justice to STFU!

Hormones overpowering reason, Justice never had a chance.

edit: images!

ROFLMAO!

Oh my sounds like something that happened in my fic.  Anders was drunk and telling Justice in his head how he liked Hawke's rear and Justice said it was a dstraction.  Anders came to the conclusion Justice knew this because he was looking too.  That spirit will never hear the end of it...

I loved that part.  It made me so happy.

Yeah... I saw that one again not long after DA2 when I went back to revisit a bunch of his Awakening dialogue.  I just about choked laughing when I ran across it.  I mean, there's foreshadowing, and there's.... that.

Heh.

Every time I look back at Anders in Awakening it's just like everything he does is screaming LOOOOOOOL WE PLANNED THIS ALL ALONG at me and I become heavily amused

I'd very much like to know if that was intentional.  Something along the lines of "See a sword up close TROLOLOL!"

Awakening Anders is the laziest revolutionary. Then along comes Tyler Durden Brad Pitt Justice.

I would like to be a writer if only to be in a position where I can watch people flail around and squee, sit back, steeple my fingers and cackle. HOW LITTLE THEY KNOW.

I didn't even pick up on that until my second Cousland origin run. Then I made a D: face. That was spectacularly bad

LOL yeah I bet it was deliberate. I haven't had the heart to go back to Awakening since playing DA2 so had forgotten about that quote until you brought it up :)

Is that on your fanart list yet?  I'd love to see Justice wearing the sunglasses and red leather jacket, possibly waving a bar of soap at Anders who is wearing a shirt and tie.  It would just be so amazing.

So much is on my to-do list haha D:

The quote 'One could make all kinds of explosives, using simple household items.' comes to mind.

If I remember correctly, David Gaider said the "see a sword up close" line resulted in QA testers coming into his office and calling him a monster. Wish I could find the quote.

Anders: Eeeewwwwww...
Amell: At least we don't have to worry about Schleets.
Oghren: ...schleets?
Anders and Amell:

I... didn't even make that connection until now, and my main Warden is a Cousland through and through. I've even played the Cousland intro countless times.

*Whoosh*

That's... yeah.

Good on you, Gaider!

I actually picked up on that my first Cousland playthrough.  I heard the kid say that and cringed.  It was so deliciously horrible.

I never finished my Awakenings play through, but my friend was posting me party conversations a couple weeks ago and there's SO MUCH FORESHADOWING. It's crazy. All of Nathan's conversations with Justice about finding a willing host and so on. Anders' conversations asking how Justice is different from a demon, Justice asking Anders why he won't fight for the mages cause.

It's a conversation with Fergus's son in origins right before Fergus leaves and Oren gets killed. Oren wants a sword and somewhere in the conversation Fergus says something like "Don't worry Oren you'll get to see a sword up close real soon."
