I'm curious: did you reach a point in your game where your canon Hawke would have put their foot down and said, "Hey, whoa, hold on a second, I'm getting off this crazy train," and departed from the actual events that transpired? I assume so, since we've discussed before about wanting to get out of Kirkwall after Leandra's death, but what is the specific point where your story would have split from the one written?
For me, my Hawke would have declined the Viscount's request to talk to the Arishok in Act II, with a, "Dude, I'm wearing bracers with -17 to tact and my trusty Boots of Insolence. Are you sure about this?"
She's a nobody who does the occasional odd job because she needs the cash and in absolutely no way is she qualified for the delicate task of negotiating with the frigging Qunari of all people, whether Big Blue asked for her by name or not.
Yes. For some right after all that remains. For others after cleaning up the mess with blackpowder courtesy. I have a few that might've tried (and probably got caught/killed) fleeing during the last quest in Act 2. And a few more who would've left after act 2 started but before act 3 did. It varies depending on which Hawke.
Your Hawke sounds fun.
Mine were mostly just tired and sick of people who should be doing their jobs leaving their mess for him to deal with. Peatrice and Meredith both should've been reigned in by their superiors. Instead their superiors sat ontheir hands doing nothing while Hawke has to deal with the fallout.
Edit: That said I haven't decided on my canon Hawke yet. I need to wait for all the dialogue bugs to be fixed .
It's a toss up between Gabriel and Leon though. Gabriel wouldn't have left (he's a powerhungry bastard who would've killed his own mother for the power he has now) and Leon would've left right after all that remains. (He was rather...fragile. Probably would've jumped off a bridge).
Edit: ToP
