I was all for giving him a shot.  Until he opened his mouth and I found all the crap I had to resist to even start the romance, THEN he was going to make me kill on of my favorite companions?  I felt cheated.  Thankfully Anders was there to hold me >_>

Bleh, I was never interested in Sebastian.  I don't even find him that attractive, to be honest.  I was getting so bummed out before the game's release, since it seemed like the only romanceable male options we had were Sebastian and Fenris, and I wasn't particularly into either of them.  I was ready for Isabela to be canon romance for all playthroughs.  I got SO DAMN EXCITED when they announced Anders was coming back; it was such a happy day.

Do you know how to end the mage's plight?

Show the Divine a copy of Twilight! Show the Chantry what real abominations are!

YUS!

There will be an exalted march on everybody involved in that abomination of a movie! And whoever decided it would be a good idea to allow it to be published!!!

And die-hard obsessive twilight fans will be locked in towers for the safety of us all. (Seriously, one girl tried to rip my face off just for saying "I hate Edward". I wasn't even talking about Twilight!)

And mages will be free.

Remember what I said about mental scars?
I take it back.

God, what is wrong with his fangirls!?

I think he was alright looking in HP.
Then he went to Twilight and I was like, "OH MY LORD WTF IS THAT THING I DON'T EVEN..."

He's funny as hell, but as far as looks go I'm totally horrified with him.

Is this a bad time to say I do like Twilight for what it is? I only ever watched the movies because tbh I could hardly read through the first book without just.... getting distracted by things or fazing in and out while trying to read. I don't try to look for a profound piece of literature in it because it's so far from it and I don't expect anything to be that.

But I dig the wolves either way. And the Pattinson guy seems like a cool enough dude.
The devout fangirls were always so much fun to make fun of and snicker at in the end.

I wanted him for like five seconds when I first saw him, all angry and shooting arrows past the Grand Cleric. And then when I met him he started talking and that was it.

LOL I don't find him attractive as well.  But I wanted to try the romances, just to see what they were like.  Seb just never happened I ended up Youtubeing his romance.  Like I said I have to wait, and not flirt with the other sexy people in my party? Then in the end he makes Vengeance look like a kitten? He can take holier then thou ass and fly a kite.

I ended up buying the game only because I heard Anders was a LI...the mage brought me in and the mage is keeping me here.

The movies are quite a bit better than the books, if only because they cut out all of Bella's incessant inner dialogue and slobbering over Edward.

Rpatz is a pretty decent dude, I don't have it in my heart to make fun of him ):

Why is it I was all too happy to corrupt Alistair's Chantry-boy-ness.... but Sebastian's made me run for the nearest Abomination?

My Hawke was all fantasizing about him until he actually recruited him and had a few conversations.

Hawke (Oh my god thisguyissohot his accent is sooooo sexy)
Seb: Maker this, Elthina that, MARDAR.
Hawke: (Why did I do this omg I can't even stand to listen to him talk anymore....maybe I should offer Fenris or Anders a few sovereigns to do him in while he sleeps. But I don't have any money? Sexual favors, maybe? I don't know I just want him to shut the hell up. Is he trying to convert Fenris? OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE?)

I agree that her writing isn't very good; it's why I don't read the books. I think Stephen Kings quote on it was spot on

I don't care about the books or the movies.
I don't care if people enjoy them, or hate them.
The actors are all people with their own lives, and I don't see them as their charactrers (hell, Pattison doesn't even like Edward!)

What I hate? The rabid creatures that tried to lynch me IRL for supposedly dissing their beloved Eddie/Jake.

Seriously, I love my various fictional boys... but not enough to become that.

Alistair was charming. And funny. And not really hung up about the Chantry. He wasn't chaste. And while he did tend to be a follower, he at least appeared to be able to wipe his ass without the Warden telling him to. And there was cheese. And flying dogs. And VOICE. Need I go on?

Alistair was adorable, and more than willing to tap that, if you know what I mean. What am I kidding, of course you know what I mean.
SEXYTIMEZ. ALLNITELONG. MARDAROFTHEGENITALS.
On the other hand Seb just preaches. And when you romance him (friendmance) he's like, "LET'S HAVE A CHASTE MARRIAGE!" and all of Hawke's hopes and sexy dreams go flying out the window.

"Chagrined". "Chagrined" EVERYWHERE.

It was on every single page, in every single book, in every single paragraph, in near enough every bloody sentence.

The word "chagrin" died a death in those novels.

I took him on the quest to the Harimann place, heard a few of his conversations with Anders and Fenris and was like  And then I kicked him out of my party as soon as the quest was done. My second play through, I fully intended to leave him in the Chantry with that quest symbol over his head until Anders Jenga'd it, but I was playing a Rogue and wanted the Low Blade form his quest so I gave in.

Because Alistair had a decent sense of humor and wasn't preachy and self righteous?
