Is this a bad time to say I do like Twilight for what it is? I only ever watched the movies because tbh I could hardly read through the first book without just.... getting distracted by things or fazing in and out while trying to read. I don't try to look for a profound piece of literature in it because it's so far from it and I don't expect anything to be that.

But I dig the wolves either way. And the Pattinson guy seems like a cool enough dude.
The devout fangirls were always so much fun to make fun of and snicker at in the end.

THIS IS BLASPHEMY.
Can you not see that the novel was a load of bull****?
If maybe...Stephen King or JK Rowling wrote it....maybe then I'd be alright with it. BUT HER WRITING IS TERRIBLE.

Pattinson is cool. Just ugleh.

I agree that her writing isn't very good; it's why I don't read the books. I think Stephen Kings quote on it was spot on

I LOVED what he said about her. She really isn't very good.

Lol. No, I'm with you. I mean, I like Twilight because it had SO MUCH potential. I don't even mind that the vampires sparkle! That could be my ADD talking, but whatev. In highschool, I loved the books and one of THOSE fangirls. But now that I'm almost 22, I've mellowed out and make fun of the books - the necrophilia and beastiality included. But oh my...I still go ga-ga over Carlisle. Ugghfhfhhhhh CARLISLE. *lick*

But if you even so much as insult Harry Potter or Dragon Age, i kill u.

Alistair was adorable, and more than willing to tap that, if you know what I mean. What am I kidding, of course you know what I mean.
SEXYTIMEZ. ALLNITELONG. MARDAROFTHEGENITALS.
On the other hand Seb just preaches. And when you romance him (friendmance) he's like, "LET'S HAVE A CHASTE MARRIAGE!" and all of Hawke's hopes and sexy dreams go flying out the window.

Considering my Hawke made a point of "getting to know" every girl in the Blooming Rose on a personal basis on pretty much every night prior to Anders?

Yeah, sorry Seb, but you'll never hold that with a chastity vow hanging over you.
ESPECIALLY when you want to hand me and my apostate friends over to the Chantry, and especially after the hissy-fit!

"Chagrined". "Chagrined" EVERYWHERE.

It was on every single page, in every single book, in every single paragraph, in near enough every bloody sentence.

The word "chagrin" died a death in those novels.

Also, the comparison of Edward to Adonis was getting tiring by the tenth time.
I was like, "Ok...he looks like Adonis. That's great."
And the description of his "chiseled abs". Ugh.

While I was trying to find a picture to torture you guys with, I came across this one.
Which made me LULZ.

Eh. I never saw Seb as preachy.

Only time I can say he actually annoyed me was a dialogue with Fenris about how the Maker didn't cause him to be a slave or all the bad thins that happened to him or something, but maybe the Maker was the reason he escaped.

But anybody could of said that and annoyed me.

Because Alistair had a decent sense of humor and wasn't preachy and self righteous?

BINGO.

And the rose, the rose and the adorable comment about it being his new weapon helped. <3

I wanted to snuggle Alistair into my bosom. <3
I wanted to crack Seb over the head with a shovel.

Mostly because he simply can't make up his damn mind...he's making Hawke do it for him. Hawke has more on his/her plate than STARKHAVEN and MARDAR.

Ugh. Most of Seb's dialogue annoyed me.

I much preferred the old heretical Leliana. She was religious but she didn't try to say "oh well the Maker willed that your life sucked." neither did Wynne.

LMFAO NO.
Taking off his shirt every time he wanted to sit in Bella's window and rub his nips would've taken too much work.
So, like Jacob, he just walked around shirtless 90% of the time so whenever the need struck him, he could stare creepily at Bella while...well you know.
Things. Things happened. XD

Guys, think about it. These books stemmed from a dream Mr. Meyer had.

We are reading Stephanie Meyer's sexual fantasy.

I have known and been friends with a couple of Sebastians in my life. He doesn't bother me. Would I prefer he not be so "MakerMakerMakerMaker?" Of course. But I felt that way about Leliana, too.

We should stop bashing Sebastian. We don't need to hate on him to support Anders. They were written by the same person, after all.

That made me think of the conversation you can have with her if you are an elf...that really upset me.

You mean the fantasy where she had no sex at all?
And the sex she did have bruised her and ruined her pillows?

Gah! It's impossible for me to keep up with this thread. ^^;

Where did the Twilight come from?!

Poor Sebastian. I agree with just about everything said about him though. lol! I loved his accent, and I was thinking of romancing him in one of my playthroughs, but he was just so..........boring, I guess. I didn't mind that he was religious, but I did mind that his romance (friendship anyway) ended with him asking you to become a nun. Really, Seb?! Think my little ladyHawke will just go over her and talk to Fenris and Anders then.

Also, @ Purposeof-Flight: Alistair was adorable! ^_^
