Oooh, yes, I do love some Carlisle. The story would've been so much better if they just got rid of Edward and Bella and made it about Carlisle. I actually like Twilight, though, but it's so easy to make fun of. I don't think anyone will every quite understand why the vampires are sparkly. What was wrong with the old fashioned non-sparkly kind?!

She wanted an original hook.  There actually IS an Italian legend about sparkly vampires.

How is that original if there's already an Italian legend about it?
Sorry, but that whole book was ****. Vampires and werewolves aside, it was unrealistic. I can see how it would appeal to some...but the romance is terrible, the jealousy of two guys over a girl with ZERO personality and ZERO looks makes no sense, and the writing, in itself, makes me want to vomit Stephen King books.
