Yeah I had a giggle over that, can just imagine Fenris "That's *my* theme ". On a general note, soundtrack is awesome isn't it, I got it with the SE but then extracted files for those bits of music that weren't included (had to do the same for Origins). I've had it on today to keep me sane while doing simple slopes analyses *shudders*

It's so good. I also got it with the SE and I've been listening to it a lot since then. I put it on my iPod and now it makes for the most epic driving music.

My Dalish Warden has an excuse.
She could've gone to Antiva to rub on her delicious Zevran. But if so, WTF is Zevran doing in Kirkwall, rubbing on the Champion?

My warden has zero excuses.  She was an elf, a mage, romancing up with Alistair and both her and Alistair were in charge of the Grey Wardens.  It was her duty!  Damn that woman, damn her!  I think she was too busy making up for 6 months away from Alistair while being surrended by hot people who she could not bed!  LOLz.

I blame the First Warden. In my head canon, he is an a ****y ****** who is too serious by half. So he gives my Warden a grilling over how lax she is when he gets a report from one of his men who visited Amaranthine. One of his orders to her was to make Anders get rid of his cat.

Now my Warden doesn't feel like a schizophrenic anymore... Also in my world my Warden gave Anders a beautiful staff to use while trying to free the mages! I loves my Warden.

I'd like to have them translated, personally. Unfortunately the words are hard to destinguish, and I'm not an expert on elvish. The most I can catch is an odd word, and it sounds like the chorus of Mage Pride keeps changing slightly...

In keeping with the warden discussion... in my head, my warden was the kidnapped and that's the mission Alistair the GW was on that was so uber important, more so than fighting the Qun.

I don't know.  I swear fereldans are the only sane people in all of Thedas.   Assuming you don't count Howe of course.  Even Loghain seems totally sane compared to people outside Ferelden. 

Am I the only person who wanted an option to make a staff out of the starmetal?  I decided to make that canon in my story...  OK I admit it, I do a lot of small little AU stuff.  Screw canon, it messes with my stories!

My Warden was queen. Judging by Alistair's comments in Act 3, she's still around by that time. The best I can wrap my head around it is this... After finishing up things in Awakening, she was called back to court. She was then sent out of the country to handle some royal dealings. While she was gone, her replacement got rid of Pounce and all that s**t. By the time she got back, Anders had already fled the country. She was unable to track him down until King Alistair mentions seeing him in Act 3. By then it's too late for her to come fix things.

EDIT: Or the First Warden, in a sneaky move, calls her out of the country for a bit pretending to talk business. While she's distracted, he makes sure to "fix" some of the things she'd done as WC, such as give Anders a cat.

Somehow, I can picture my Warden being forced to step down.
She's not always the most diplomatic of people, and some of her actions would probably grate on the Grey Warden's nerves a bit.

For instance, she killed the Archdemon, yet both she and Loghain survived. (Suspitious much?) Then she allowed the Architect to live... not to mention she allowed Vigil's Keep to get trashed in order to save Amaranthine, and somehow I doubt she was happy with the Chantry poking their noses in her buisness. (Seriously, what the hell happened to neutrality!?)

Overall, I'd also expect her to be a tad stressed by now.
She lost her clan, her home and her first love to the eluvian and was thrown into the whole Blight mess. Then she lost her lover for the sake of her duty (doing whatever it takes to stop the Blight, including recruiting traitors to bolster numbers).

Velanna vanished, Sigrun left, Justice wasn't exactly going to last long (and then of course came the accident.<_<), Nathaniel was probably busy catching up with his sister and his new brother-in-law, and Oghren isn't the best source of comfort in the world,.

And all her other friends were long gone.

I wouldn't be surprised if she just spent as much time away from the keep as possible, leaving whoever in charge before disapearing altogether.

And I suppose without her there to keep the Chantry and everybody under control, everything went to hell and eventually Anders got into the mess he did.

That's my version of events, and I am sticking to it.
