...just for this, I am writing a happy fic where the Warden-Commander meets up with Anders and Hawke, and they kick the Chantry out of Amaranthine and get on with life, and Nate shall heal my poor Dalish's broken heart and they shall live as was depicted in Nate's fantasy here... except a little different. <3

I always have back ups saves. For example I have one where I ****ed Garrus and I have another where I ****ed Garrus.

DA2 doesn't go over 8x anti-aliasing, but I have everything turned up max. It's a 6970 2GB Radeon. It's a very big card. It's actually extending partway inside my hard drive cage.

edit: It takes a huge card to handle Anders.

Ooo, that is seriously beefy indeed. Mine was... a year ago, lol. But it's not comfortable to run high-res and high anti-aliasing with everything turned up, gets just a touch laggier than what I like. It's not a major difference in looks, I think the high-res package makes up most of the difference. Still... now I'm tempted just for the sake of having a better hardware!

I'm a sysadmin. I so was ashamed when I realized my "old" card could only run at very high. There was nerd rage.
I got the new one today and replayed all the Anders bits so I could get new screen shots - like him snogging my Hawke...

I never really had a "default" LI I fall into with Mass Effect. My own canon Shep is single both games. Maybe in ME3 I'll pick one out for her if I can but I'll most likely stay forever alone. I like that better.

That said I am a Kaidan fan too.

Because DA2 was clearly a rushed project. ME3's saving grace may be that it was always a planned trilogy and because it's the last the branching doesn't matter so much anymore.

I'm looking forward to seeing what they're going to do with it. Sure, DA2 might've pissed people off, but you can't please everyone. I thought it was a nice sequel.

Kaidan sucked me in every...single...time.  But I do have one Shep that fell head over heels for Thane, knowing he was going to die and rip her space-cowboy heart right out of her chest.

My Hawkes alternate between Fenris and Anders, though.  I adore Anders but some Hawkes are just too impatient with his agnst.  Apparently they prefer anger.  <_<

Canon is single, I have another with Kaidan. I did have the same single Shep get with Garrus and with Thane and the one with Kaidan also did Garrus and Thane. I have a single male that was with Ash but I tried out the Tali romance to see what the fuss was about, so I have that one. I'll eventually do a faithful run with him.

I just don't feel as... bound to a single LI in Mass Effect.
