I got that dialogue for the first time after Leandra had died and I was pretty much "Oh dear Maker, my dead mother is haunting my house. Anders, do they teach you how to perform exorcisms in that Circle of yours? Because we need one right now, PLEASE."

When someone said it was probably Flemeth I facepalmed so hard.

LOL Thats when I got it too and had the same thought at first I was like "Not cool Bioware!" Then my boyfriend was all "Did your mom have a creepy laugh?"  and then I facepalmed myself into the void.

That picture... it's evil.

My little heart just broke.

Not sure what is worse: Anders being made Tranquil, Hawke believing it's her fault, or knowing Hawke will kill him to free him. (Or at least, my Hawke would.)

Edit: Of course we could also go with Option 4: Hawke finds Fade Spirit -> Merges with Fade Spirit -> Pulls an Anders -> Figures out how to stay glowy forever. >.>

Ugh, the more I look at that image the more I get all teary-eyed.

That's the first time I got it too and I thought the exact same thing. It freaked the hell out of me.

@.@

Edit: Awesome! A double post!

I should be upset at Tranquil!Anders, but the only thing I can think of ATM is sexy Anders wall-slam.

Oh, I'm so out of practice writing sex scenes for couples that don't involve a turian. DAMN YOU GARRUS.

I do kind of wonder what happened to Leandra's body and all the other women's corpses down there.
My Hawke's instinct would have been to tell Anders to burn the place to the ground, but Aveline was in the party at the time and I imagine she would have objected. It's kind of a pity that there's no investigation of how the whole thing happened. You can yell at Aveline for not doing her job, but we never hear any more about them looking into where Quentin got some of his research materials from. You know, something that would have been helpful to know before I sided with the mages, thanks a lot Orsino.

Yus, I love that fic!

I've been tempted to write my Hawke's take on it, but there's already been so many great interpretations of Leandra's death and the aftermath - in both pictures and writing - that I don't think I could do it justice.

It's personal to each Hawke I think. Saoirse is very much a BURN FIRST, MAKE JOKES LATER type. Other Hawkes would internalise it more. It depends on what your Hawke would do :D. And I'd READ IT!

And on that note, I'm going to bed. Yes, it's only 8pm but that's what kids do to you. Keep up the rainbows and elitism and gay darlings!

Yeah, my Hawke did something very similar to what yours did.  But mine is a blood mage, so....yeah.  She was SCARY during the Quentin fight.  Comparable to Anders in Justice mode.  She usually keeps a tight leash on her blood magic, but that time she let it run rampant because she was so enraged.

I knew something was up with him when I said I was going to slit my wrist and dance naked and he was all "Maybe I will go too."

I was like  "You know if Anders finds out, he will find some reason to call that an injustice and go all Vengeance on you right?"

Also at least to my to good for her own good Hawke, he said he was kept it locked away so no one could get it, and he was using it because he really thought they were going to loose.  Because once again story and game play don't add up....

You are not alone, my mind went straight to the possibility it was my dead mother! I didn't even consider Flemeth, until I read a thread on the dragon age wiki where people were sharing their ideas for what happens in Dragon Age 3 and this guy wrote this whole thing about how Sandal might be possessed by a forgotten one. Scary O.o

Sheer speed of replies + Fear of rampaging Anders fans + The fact that even when things get a little out of hand people are back to playing nice and apologising or reminding each other to tone things down within 2 pages or less.

Plus it's by far the most interesting thread on the forums.

Think of all the evil ideas we've given them for future gut punchings.
I'll be a little disappointed if we don't get a tranquil Anders snow globe or something equally horrifying.

In my mind, I think of being tranquil as being given a lobotomy, except the patient is more able to function in some way.

That is exactly what I called it earlier today, a lobotomy.  It's a horrible, horrible thing to do to someone and it totally did not surprise me to see Karl beg for his death in those few lucid moments he was able to experience there with Anders.

I just do not understand why people would think this would be a good state to live in let alone why they would want to put through someone like that merely to have a sex slave.

Sorry to dredge up something from many pages back, but...

Wait, wait, WHAT???

I obviously missed some... interesting... conversation many pages back. Somewhere. Were folks talking about that pig Ser Alrik or was there even more... weirdness... getting brought up?

I just can't imagine sexual relations with Tranquil being some sort of ideal. I mean, isn't about 90% of the awesomeness of the act based on the emotion and passion of it? If someone wants emotionless, purely physical performance of that nature, they... really don't need another person to accomplish that. IfyouknowwhatImean...

Is she haunting the woodshed or the outhouse? I can't remember which one now, but WHY there?! Come inside creepy ghost mom.

Disliking Twilight is one of the smartest things you can do these days. I'm sure you've seen this, but if you haven't and you feel this way it delivers some very nice belly-laughs http://theoatmeal.com/story/twilight

I'm in love with sandara and all his/her art.

I was listening to the video with all the lines packed up together, I suddenly heard Anders sayin "I don't get many kisses these day" ...then my mind finally decided to get out of the mud and it was "cases"...but it was fun. I think I thought something like "awwww, why not"

Wait, what? What is this you're talking about?

If you watch the movie as a comedy, it's really quite good. :P
