Hehe. I couldn't romance Fenris with a F!Hawke. Not because of any bias but because I keep thinking about how male elves were a good deal *shorter* in origins and then I get annoyed and start thinking my FemHawke's short. And then I'm all "boooooo." and nothing gets done.

Nah. My canon Hawke (icon!) is pretty inseparable from Anders, I just envy the male dialogue. I love Boulton's voice work in the game, I just prefer playing female badasses in games that will let me. I also prefer Lady Hawke in romances with all the companions except Fenris.

Same here. My husband's the same, he always plays a female character and not because "If I have to stare at someone's *ss..." reason either, he just likes a female protagonist who kicks butt. I've played a mHawke romancing Anders though and really loved it, I'll definitely play it again, I just prefer playing as a female, regardless of any differences in gameplay that may arise.

Mine does it so he can be a lesbian.

And this FHawke/Anders thing makes me want to go back to FemShep to get my womyn back.

You are a stronger person than I. 

I can't do that to her. Plus most of my Hawkes aren't the type to let her sleep with them in the first place unless they were looking for the same things in a relationship.They see her social awkwardnes and don't want to be the ones to give her that kind of experience. (They also are the types to screen whoever tries to get close to Merrill and do the same, sibling like affection.)  And those that aren't the type wouldn't want Merrill in the first place. 

I can't help it. She makes me wanna hug her. I can make my Hawkes be mean to her but not that.

If it helps to add balance: although I only play LadyHawkes myself, I  vicariously experience the M!Hawke/Anders romance through Lenox and Farron and all the other lovely Mister Hawkes in this thread. It's just as good without having to do any of the work!

Nonsense. Varric romance DLC is like, teh obvious way to go.

I swear, I'm the only person who doesn't find Varric even vaguely sexy, and I'm shamefully attracted to large noses normally.  The chest hair is too low and thus actually belly hair which couldn't be less hawt. 

That said he's an awesome guy and totally my best friend.  Like Garrus, but with a crossbow instead of a sniper rifle.  And he protects Anders instead of using him for his body, which is more than Hawke ever did.

Side note, I prefer Fenris with female Hawkes too, it's just that every expression and line he has is effectively a lady killer. 
Anders I'm undecided, I've played bot female and male romance, maybe I like a bit more the male Hawke one.

It's been pretty much consistently that for quite a few months now...I'm not sure how long. I've exchanged it for Meredanders and Anders on a motorcycle so far but neither fit.

You'd be my best freaking friend forever if you happened to have made a wallpaper.

I haven't tried out templar Carver yet but plan to on my next mage PT.  I will say that I really, really liked Grey Warden Carver a great deal.
