That's why I say it's subjective, because  I always saw him as older than that in Awakening and a lot of people saw him as younger. The fact that, as yet, there is no official age for anyone, I think the player is allowed to estimate the ages for themselves within a sensible framework that doesn't contravene any of the information given and in their universe the person can be that age. This would all change, of course, if Bioware decide to publish ages but until then I see Anders as older in my games, just because he comes across as older to me, but that is all down to my perception
