JOKES, I do. Annoying personal philosophy aside, it is not only absurd but completely ridiculous to view any orientation be it sexual, spiritual, or otherwise as anything to be 'accepted'. It is not a single persons place to accept homosexuality, any more than it is my place to 'accept' you.

Besides, that line of thought is in the past and it is called groupism - think racism, but with anything that isn't race-related and can be grouped. Which is everything. Groupism is a huge part of humanity's culture, sure, but it is being phased out ever so agonizingly slow. It hails from yon primal days and is a burden on today's society more than it ever was a boon.

I'm a straight male from Louisiana, and I've been in favor of equal romance options for homosexuals since KOTOR. I am not offended by men or women kissing or anything, and I find it joyous and beautiful when two people truly love each other, no matter what their genders.

We exist down here. We're just in the minority.

No it does mean he's thinking in the past. It also means you're thinking in the past. 

Explain? Because my views on a certain topic differ from yours Iam thinking in the past? Not true good sir. I dont wish to get banned over getting into a arguement about homosexuality.

I disagree with homophobia. I think it's vile, backwards and damaging. I think the people who willfully embrace it (especially out of usually religiously motivated ignorance ) are disgusting. But it's totally cool brah it's just a difference of opinion man.

Discrimination of any kind is horrible.  Disliking someone for solely based on their sexual orientation is an ignorant view, I myself am a lesbian woman who has to deal with a father who hates me just cause of my orientation, cruel people who harass me whenever I'm out with my girlfriend or gay friends.  I am a good person, I worked abroad for 2 years helping less fortunate communites in South America, am currently getting a degree in Marine Biology, I don't drink nor do drugs, I respect others and don't hate.  Yes others have a different way of life than I do, different religions and views, but it is all a part of this beautiful world that people need to start actually educating themselves of others and enjoy this diversity.  Otherwise the world would be pretty boring.  I am not saying you have to like LGBT, just try not to hate anyone soley based on their sexuality.

Hating an entire group of people for something as innocuous as who they chose to be romanticly involved with isn't "a different opinion" that should be respected. It IS intolerant and should ABSOLUTELY be reviled in every way.

No sir I'm afraid you're the one in error. Disliking people based on sexual preference is, well, silly. You might as well state you don't like black people next, or arabs,or asians.

There is one race, it is the human race, in all its diversity. Your fears are the fears of generations of maladjusted thinking, distilled, into you by your environment, by your peers, and by those you saw as role models.

Grow outside this and join the rest of us, the human race, we'll be here when you decide to stop by.

Sexual preference and race are two completely different things. Being a minority I'd prefer if you didn't compare the two. Either way I agree that we are all humans and it is immature to dislike someone based off of sexual preference. I don't have to agree with someone's way of life, but if we're all equals so who am I to judge?

It really isn't. You can't choose to be black/asian/spanish just as you can't choose to be gay or lesbian. And saying you don't agree with someone's way of life when they don't have control over their way of life is being close minded. I could easily say I don't agree with asian's culture/way of life but they don't have control over their culture or their way of life.

I don't believe in boycotts. Even if I opposed homosexuality, I would not oppose depictions of it. It's a reality that needs to be depicted in social media -- whether for good or for ill.

That's that and there is nothing you can say about it because you know it's true.

Fear breeds ignorance, and clearly this is what the op is expressing.

Which reminds me: stoning women to death for adultery (or being raped and failing to scream loud enough) is endorsed by the Bible, and I haven't seen any indication that taking this action is supported by Dragon Age II. Please deliver, BioWare. Also, slavery.
