Im from Austin. It really is. Actually, the cities for the most part are more accepting. It's when you get to the rural areas you encounter the more...limited minded although most are nice people.

It is at least once. Once I know for sure it says if a man sleeps with another man like he would with a woman it is an abhorration. And I'm pretty sure it mentions something about actually having a relationship with another man as wrong also. I'm just about 100% sure on the second one, but I can't legitimately say I am.

Also, even if homosexuality were an evil option, would the game be promoting it by making it available? Did BG2 promote wanton murder (something even most fundamentalists would admit is worse than homosexuality) just because you could go around (at least trying to) slaughtering everyone you meet?

1) Not everyone is christian or even believes in a god 
2) Christianity is very good at adapting adapting what is acceptable/overlook things when it is the best interest of the church, it has happened soo many times throughout history

Don't stop people from being judged based simply on the color of their skin or their choice of lovers, but then go right out and judge them based on the place they were born. Southerners are people too!
