So, we learn that the ritual is to bring Flemeth back to life.
I was pretty convinced after playing Witch Hunt that Flemeth was a bad guy, but after playing a couple hours of this game I'm not quite sure what to make of her. What do you guys think?
BTW what do you guys think of dialouge system when talking to your party? I'm not sure if I am liking the whole "you have to go to their house or location to have conversations with them" talk thing. It might change after leaving Kirkwall, but as of now I find it annoying to travel to different places to just talk to individual members of your party.
Flemeth?

Yeah, and she's voiced by Kathryn "Crewicide" Janeway. What more evidence of pure evil do you need?

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but love for Capt. Kathy, but she *did* go out of her way to get her crew killed at times.

She's Janeway? Suddenly, now that you said it, I can "see" it now. Talking more with a mystical, more-sane-sounding-than-in-DAO Flemeth has really blurred the lines on her good/evilness. I dig what they've done so far with her character development and the Flemeth/Morrigan plot.

Spoiler sorta...
If you select the middle option when Flemeth mentions Morrigan
Hawk asks "Is she your daughter or enemy" and Flemeth responds "Neither"
that Morrigan is doing exactly what she expected of her due to the way she raised Morrigan. o.o
Seems Morrigan is believes she's doing things of her free will, but its all been planned by Flemeth.

Still hard for me to tell because she is such an enigmatic character and her motives are as of yet unclear. I now have the feeling that she has been waiting and biding her time for the right set of circumstances for her plan (whatever that might be).
I don't think that Flemeth necessary planned Morrigan's action but I do think she can predict with certainty how she will behave since she raised her. Also, Flemeth has been around for a long time, long enough to be able to predict how people will behave. There is a saying in Spanish: "Más sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo". Roughly translated: "The devil knows more because of his age than because he's a devil."
OP - I agree about the convo options so far - but I'll reserve final judgement after I've gotten a bit more used to the new system. Right now it feels forced or awkward.

Flemeth makes me curious. So did the warden actually kill her, or was it just the body he killed, and her spirit/soul that's living on?

After finishing the quest with the "locket" my first reaction is Flemmeth is getting more like "You know who" in Harry Potter, putting "part of her" in a locket, I mean com'on!

I like Flemeth and i think she is neither enemy or friend in my point of view. But it might change if i complete the game. (9hours already..)
