This is completely unacceptable. This is amateurish and pathetic. My guess is that this is an EA issue and not a BioWare issue, but either way this is just damn pitiful.

It is incompetent crap like this that makes me think I'm an idiot for pre-ordering and standing in line for the release of BioWare games.  It seems like it would be a better idea to just wait for the "Ultimate Edition" of the game, instead of paying twice as much to beta test.

Yeah there was a reason. So all each "region" in the world would unlock at the exact same moment in time. So US/CAN unlocks at the exact moment. Unfortunately that's not all the same "time" on the clock, but it is the same moment in time   There is no issue. It's just the way it was deliberately planned. If anyone has read my posts, DVD/EA Digitals can be activated "early" if your release date is 00:00 March 8th.

Then whoever "planned" this should be fired, or at the very least severely reprimanded.  I have never before had this issue, and I always show up for the midnight release of games.

I bought the game, I installed the game, I cannot play the game.  I would say that is an issue.

Oh I'm by no means "defending" they way it was done. Just explaining more of the how and maybe the why. But I agree with you. If they said 0000, it should have unlocked in each time zone at that time

I wanted to play as soon as I got home I dont mind waiting but for the game to offically launch. When it does go live im going to play the crap out of it!

I don't think this is Bioware. It's really JUST EA that's doing it. They're also the ones that upped the PC price 10 bucks after I already preordered for the previous price. It's some bs. But yeah, even hard copy from Gamestop has the wait time. Just so everyone knows...
